A beautiful actress,, who between Shinead and Daniel have opened up the world to reality, as people won’t talk about it. I have lost my darling husband to asbestos lung cancer and nursed him for his last seven months, so the scenes to me seems so real. Well done, Katie you are beautiful xxxx

Kate did a really good job with that story so did rob but i also want to say that not everybody dies from it as im now 40 years clear from the same cancer, there wasnt as much help in those days and i lost a good friend she was told she had it 2 weeks before me, she had the surgery but it didnt work for her she died about 6 months later, i was very lucky, within 2 weeks i had 3 operations the second one i had to be ressused twice and then was in intensive care for a few days until i was allowed back on the ward, just under 8 weeks in hospital, i was told if it didnt work i wouldnt see christmas, i was on my own with 2 young children, i was terrified as i didnt know who would look after my 2 babies 4 and 5 years old, in those days i was much to young for a smear test, you must have a smear test and if you have it in the family you can usually get them earlier as i know my daughter did, REMEMBER TAKE A SMEAR TEST it doesnt hurt just uncomfortable
Lancashire - most of the cast use Lancashire accents. The most recent exception was John Mitchie. For a geniuine Manchester accent listen to Shaun Ryder or the Gallagher brothers.
@@davidzukes229 OK I looked up Shaun Ryder on youtube, and I watched a documentary about UFOs. (!!!) Yeah, he does have an interesting accent . Here in America we don't have so many regional accents as the Brits.
This was a tough watch, so very realistic, many folks had bad memories of a real event for their family or friends, certainly true in my case. I hope we see more of Katie in the future, she’s a beautiful looking girl

No other soap would have dealt with such an important issue as well as Corrie. It's the only one I watch. Eastenders is like watching a school play...
