Not the lens or the camera it's all the artist...you have to have a vision and taste for art otherwise no one can just make beautiful art after art like you do...amazing brother!
There's something mesmerizing watching your craft grow along with your family. I enjoy those short videos of yours, while they also make me feel a bit melancholic. Maybe it's the time passing by, never to come back. And you capture those moments with a tenderness I love, like so they can not hurry away from you. This style reminds me a lot of how Terrence Malick would capture those fleeting moments. Or the family memories in the movie Arrival, that I believe are straight from a Malick movie. What I lovingly want to share is what sometimes brings me out of the flow of those shorts are some of the wide shots. They bring me back to reality, but in a bit harsh and less poetic way. Like a small addition of documentary to a dramatic scene that does not need it at all. I don't feel your pieces need establishing shots at all, especially in the middle parts. I'm sharing my thoughts as a viewer, ok? I hope my notes do not pass as criticism. I have no such intention.
Happy new year to you as well and your loved ones. Indeed it is a beautiful lens and relatively expensive too. I have invested in the Sirui saturn for my L mount. Sooner or later i will be experimenting with LAOWA anamophic lenses and see how it goes from there. It is always a pleasure watching your videos and nothing is more joyful than watching family captured videos as i do the same. Memories for life that i garish and appreciate.
Beautiful as usual. Amazing imagery. I switched to the LUMIX S5ii a couple months ago. The firmware for the FX30 that added Shutter Angle for some reason broke my ability to film in 4K DCI. I don't know why since they're not related. At that point, I was done with Sony firmware screw ups. So, I switched to LUMIX. I'm loving the S5ii. I just tried one of your LUTs on my S5ii, and with some adjustments to the Contrast I was able to get a good grade with it. Your LUTs always come through. Happy New Year. May 2025 be a prosperous year for you and your family,
Очень красивые и интересные моменты. Каждый кадр шикарен. Великолепно👍👏

Did you use an external monitor for anamorphic squeeze?
No, I didn’t. I'm just looking at a distorted picture on the built-in monitor.
