Really very useful.. enga veetla daily sambar seyyanum.. en ponnuku previous day menu ketruven.. I use two burner gas stove , electric rice cooker and sometimes in addition use my induction.. so it will take around 45 mins to 1 hr to make breakfast, lunch packing making my daughter bath and for packing snacks and lunch for her.. sometimes it will be feeding her and cooking..

Don't cook tamarind recipes in iron cookwares.... transfer the food immediately.. don't keep in same cookware for long time

Hi Sumitha, I have been using the cast iron tawa for a long time to make dosa. The upper part of the tawa stays seasoned all the time and not rusting.. but the bottom part which is exposed to direct fire collects rust and becomes very dry. Wont the direct fire contact on either side of pan wont effect the seasoning of the grill pan? Hope you have used multiple times. Please provide your view on this..
Everytime we wash the tawa.. we have to heat it again and smear some oil before storing.. if we maintain it well.. it won't get rusted .
