What you said about the characteristics of paint on smooth paper helped me a lot, especially when you made that point about texture not being so easy to get on smooth paper. All made fun sense to me :) Thank you for your videos. Hope you had a good sleep.

Glad it was helpful! The paper makes a very big difference with watercolor. Not all nature journaling is dependent on "pure watercolor" so it is good to experiment some.

Hey Marley! This was great. Enjoyed watching it while drinking my coffee! Another funny quote..."the nature journal show must go on". View finders and frames are fun to use. Finding the best view is such a cool thing. Peeling the sticker off the salad box....nooooooo, hahaha. Loved your diagram regarding field of vision. It was awesome. So relaxing to watch you paint. Super inspiring. More coffee...definitely a must, lol. Great that you can still paint outside. We have winter here now. White gel pens...kind of a live hate relationship, haha. Hope you have been able to get caught up on your rest. Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃

Hi Lynda! Glad you were having your coffee also while you watched this! Thanks for letting me know that you enjoy the timelapse painting scenes. Sometimes Im not sure whether to include that footage or not. Happy thanksgiving to you also.

Some funny quotes from this episode "Not all plants are green." "Don't become dependent on that texture." "The sleep deprivation is affecting my color memory..." "Eating salad is not as fun as eating chocolate on camera." "oh no, the friggin gel pen!"

Fabulous information. A bit more editing and I think that you'd get a lot more followers and likes. Just a thought.
