I REALLY like the effect of highlighting the ground for where the ball will bounce, you've done that in a lot of other videos, it's really helpful as it's easier to visualize :D
This video is insanely well conceived. The part where just try some shot to the corner and the way you decided visualise the area of impact is probably the most useful thing I’ve seen in any of these tutorials on TH-cam. Great stuff!
I commented on this video 10 days ago and have watched it a few times since. Today I played against a left hander (my pet hate) but thanks to your instructions had no problem following his smashes and volleys off the double glass, something that always confused me in the past. He noticed the difference too........ and wasn't so happy ! Thanks again Sandy.
Sandy, your instruction, cadence of speech, and breakdowns are incredibly thorough yet succinct. Props on knowing what to show and how to talk about it, as well as to your graphics guy with that excellent overlay at 5:30. Keep up the great work!
Great video with clear instructions on somewhat difficult subject. The graphics showing the direction of the ball are particularly helpful. Thanks Sandy!
Excellent video! 👏🏼 I came looking for a video to help me on the right corner and the content was spot on and answered all of the questions I had in my head. Keep up the great work!!
Thanks for the fantastic video again, Sandy! 🙌🏻 I was thinking, I really liked the short slomo clip at the beginning of the video. It really gives you more time to actually perceive what's going on: how the players position themselves, how they move when the ball is coming, etc. I think it would be super useful if you made a video where you analyse some good points with the video slowed down, so basically the same as the match analyses you've made before but in slomo. Anyway, hope to see you in Tampere again!
The shot i still have difficulty with is a fast shot to the backglass that i need to let past first. Often enough i don't have enough time to move forward and get that after the glass. Any tips on that?
Assuming you mean from a smash, if you can move to the side early (out of the way of the ball) you can move as your opponent is smashing giving you more time...
Hi, I have a bad habit that I am struggling with. Every time someone smash hard toward the back glass then the side glass I will always take a step backward unconsciously to look at the ball and then running forward. And because of the back step I will always end up not reaching the ball in time… do you have any tip? 😅 thanks
This is a great question, and something that would be excellent to be shared in our community pages which are very active with players and The Padel School coaches. We are currently offering a 7 day free trial for this, as well as all of our brand new courses, so why don't you try it out in there? thepadelschool.com/
At different levels, players have different decisions for the corners, here is how Ale Galan thinks about it: th-cam.com/video/YDhImjPxbzM/w-d-xo.html

Hi Sandy! Wht's your racket in this video?
Slazenger Epic is the racket
