Some workshops use the Mig for capping pipes with flux cored wire because it’s fast but the root is never done with the Mig. This process is done by rolling the pipe on trestle’s and counterbalancing the fittings with a weight but the MMA ( stick ) is a lot harder to do because you can’t go round the pipe without any stop/starts like you can with the Mig plus you aren’t just pulling a trigger
umm, actually, mig welding does root very well, ive been welding hydroalic cilinders for 3 years now, with overall experience of welding of 9 years in the industry. But what i see in this video, is that he actually drags the mig weld, which is just for decorative welds. You have to push mig welds, and hold the handle in like 30 degree angle, so the wire goes in front of the weld, and penetrates hard.
@@Swarmah yes but most engineering workshops won’t allow it to be used on pipework as defects are common in it and you don’t have the ability to make sure that you have actual fused the edges of the pipes together

Do you mean a bit of 4 “ sched 40 pipe that’s capped off because believe me a lot more pipes are welded than them and many jobs that are done go through 100% or 10% NDT radiography. I bet it’s done by I robot in your factory unlike skilled coded welders who work on oil refineries and petrochemical plants
@@Then.72 i work on heavy machinery and farming machinery workshop. We repair hydroalics for factories, farming equipment, and so on. Everything is hand done. I dont think our country has any company that actually does robot welding. I have worked in finland, where long welds were done by robots, but still, finishing touches were still done by hand.
Kiedy jest spawane to jest do okoła ciemko. Czy spawanie musi być w ciemnym pomieszczeniu bez światła? Nie można tego robić w pomieszczeniu z oknem? Tak nie fajnie ogląda się to kiedy prawie nic nie widać.
Tak działają kamery. Jeśli ustawić by ją tak, aby pomieszczenie było jasne, to spawanie byłoby tak jasne, że nic nie byłoby widać. Kamera jest ustawiona tak, aby widoczny był proces spawania, dlatego na filmie pomieszczenie wydaje się ciemne. Spawanie w pomieszczeniu bez okna to głupi pomysł :) trzeba zapewnić dobrą wentylację, aby ograniczyć wdychanie tego wszystkiego, dodatkowo przy MIGu używa się gazów osłonowych, aby odciąć spoinę od tlenu. Stanowisko do spawania powinno być wyposażone w wyciąg powietrza, są też w sprzedaży maski z filtrem i nadmuchem.
