    Sometimes I come back over situations, I think are part of our normal life, but I feel it is necessary to face as a real Son of God, so thanks to remind it to me.

    During my pregnancy and first year of marriage, we went through the 'Freedom in Christ' program. This resource that brought things to light broke demonic bondage and specifically fear and regret from the past. It was a KEY THAT SAVED OUR MARRIAGE, LITERALLY.
    We now have a 1 year old daughter named, Liberty. When we ask people, why the name? We share that God revealed it to us, and we love the meaning 'Freedom in CHRIST' . TRUE LIBERTY!

    Rebuke the spirit of fear if it seems to be a problem still call an anointed brother or sister in Christ and ask them to pray to cast out that evil spirit
    This worked for me

    When my mother had been dead for five years, and I was facing the truth about my dad (that I meant nothing to him) I began , spontaneously, to recover one repressed memory after another, going back to infancy. They were word for word, like videos in my mind, of traumas my parents and others had subjected me to. Altogether, I recovered about fifty of them, including attempts on my life by both parents. Extreme neglect, no love, hunger, no teaching or nurturing , only criticism, and humiliation.
    What was especially tough was that they had chosen me as family scapegoat, so my siblings got most of the things that I did not. And, of course, my feeble claims to my siblings, early on in this process were met with scorn and disbelief. I quickly gave up on getting any validation from them, and have since realized that my parents made them complicit in many of their abuses, so, of course, they wouldn't admit to anything. I've decided just to go no contact with my siblings. They can live out their lives believing we had good, Christian parents. But I know differently, and my struggle, as you may guess, is how to forgive my parents, even though they're long dead. I usually just do a summary in my head, saying, "I hope they're in Heaven" And I actually really do. But speaking of a test of faith, and truly believing in God's love for me? The battle of my lifetime!

    That last question was very pertinent as my life is plaqued with people who see my peaceful self as soft and stupid and they think they can manipulate me for their own ends. The only thing that works once I've run out of patience is going absolutely ballistic with them to their face or on paper.... so they don't come near me and they actually see the polar opposite of my true self which is not very accommodating of their toxic agenda. These people are usually locked in, like where they are yet need me as a crutch to complete themselves.... I'm not playing that part.... that's not me. I really feel an urgency to get away from them. Not because I'm afraid or not faithful, but because they're totally locked in and unable to change and they drag me down into their pit. Totally incompatible. I've stopped worrying about it but I do make myself known these days before I hit that barrier so it's occurring less and less.

    I was very moved by this video due to knowing that my life has begun to shut down in the way Neil described. In secular terms these "primary emotions "are known as "triggers"......can anyone he!p??

    Primary Emotion is this the same as TRIGGER... That is what I use all the time, but I have those for all kinds of things... usually hurt, anger or frustations, worry..... So hard to know where it should be placed?

  • @mortaldelirium0
    @mortaldelirium0 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I'm very interested in what Neil would have to say about the condition known as "misophonia"- where the sufferer experiences severe emotional distress from certain sounds. These sounds are not typically associated with traumatic experiences

    • @resident9011
      @resident9011 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      noise and smell and repetitive movement rage comes because you are to emotionally intelligent for the people you are around you are very deep and sincere and they are not so your mind is above everyone but they destroy your deep concentration and this causes the rage and you see them as just in the way of where your mind is taking you. you get mad at their ignorance and lack of respect. it stops when you realize you are not as smart as you think you are and you start getting to know others on a deeper level and see the beauty of diversity what a beautiful dance when it is well played we are all enchanting .use your emotional intelligence to find them and love them and your condition goes away it is only pride and needs to be destroyed. no one is above anyone praise God for that. the places your mind can take you are so amazing so far beyond so profound but do not let that become an idol to you take it captive its not of God. peace to you from a 50 year sufferer

    • @simon5785
      @simon5785 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I feel for you, as i also have misophonia.
      Mine has subsided in severity and frequency since working through "the bondage breaker" written by DR Neil. T Anderson.

  • @teresadexter9965

    Primary Emotion = a trigger or flashback.
    Where does one turn after being triggered in this way and finding ones life shutting down like this? Can anyone help?
    I am in UK and there are no courses close to me at the moment?

      I would recommend "victory over the darkness" "the bondage breaker" both written by Dr Anderson.
      I am still working on it but the truths in these books have made a profound difference in my life.
      Mental and Spiritual Freedom are a reality!
