    i think the west expansion should be split between 2026 and 2027, with each year getting one western team and one eastern team, so that way its spread out and not all at once.

    I love your list of cities. I believe the UFL must bring back the big TV market cities. Chicago ,Philly ,NJ/NY and LA. The UFL needs the TV rating more then fans in the seats. We the TV viewers want the fans in the seats because it looks better on TV. I hope in 2026 the UFL move the Birmingham Stallions & Memphis Showboats franchise to Nashville and Louisville (only if they can play in a soccer size stadium.) Also if the Michigan Panthers can't move into a smaller stadium, move the team to Chicago. Only if the Chicago Blitz can get into a smaller stadium like they're building on the campus of Northwestern University. Just imagine by 2028 The UFL have 12 teams and 4 team divisions ::: east / CHICAGO, PHILLY, NY/NJ & DC ::: mid west / St. Louis ,Louisville ,Nashville & Columbus, Ohio .::: south / The 3 Texas teams & NEW ORLEANS BREAKERS and the ::west division / LA , VEGAS, PORTLAND & SEATTLE or LA ,VEGAS , SAN DIEGO & OAKLAND / BAY AREA or LA ,VEGAS ,SEATTLE or OAKLAND INVADERS / BAY AREA ( Don't let the Oakland Invaders breakout into Silver /Black and a new Black hole !!!!!) ,,,,,,,, 4THE LOVE OF 🏈

      The only team that might move would be Memphis if their attendance continues being awful like it was last year. Chicago was one of the cities I almost had in my list as I definitely could see them being a very successful city. A big reason I hope the league expands out west is to get higher TV ratings since the league is missing out on that entire side of the country.

      @kpower..... I 'm ok with that, but Arlington/ Dallas is the Headquarter of the league. Houston is the 4th most populated city in the United State. It's all about the TV ratings Mr. Powers. If the UFL going to make it. I believe you need a few big TV markets , Soccer size stadiums ,two strong HUB locations and rivalries. If UFL can keep the league at 2 strong hub location. Bring along big TV markets cities like Chicago , NY/NJ ,LA & Philly. Then you will have your big city rivalries playing in soccer size stadiums. Birmingham have won 3 straight championships and only average just over 8,000 fan's in a stadium that holds over 45,000 spectators. Memphis playing in the old / new Liberty bowl stadium that holds over 50,000 seats with only 8,000 fan's in the stadium. St. Louis Battle hawks plays in a 50,000 seat dome, average 32,000 fans and they have NOT WON a playoff game in their 3 season history. Yea , I would move Memphis and the CHAMPS in 2026 if they don't show better attendance at the games. If UFL place the Stallions franchise in the city of New Orleans and play the games at Yulman Stadium capacity of around 30,000 seats. I bet we won't be taking about making the New Orleans Breakers move from that city !!! It comes down to TV ratings and stadium size. If you play in a 20,000 seat stadium with 8,000 - 10,000 fan's. it looks a lot better on TV and when it looks better on TV ?? Big ratings mean Big money for UFL.

Guardians at Metlife Stadium? Way too big. If you put the Guardians on the East Coast Hartford Connecticut makes more sense. Thoughts on moving the Houston Roughnecks to the XFL Conference and adding two new USFL Conference teams?
    XFL:
    Battlehawks
    Renegades
    Defenders
    Brahmas
    Roughnecks
    USFL:
    Stallions
    Showboats
    Panthers
    Folded Team
    Folded Team
    This way the USFL Conference can being back two of its folded teams they could do it with an 8 team conference in mind as well as a North and South Division.
    Add to North teams like the Generals, Maulers and Stars
    Or two South teams like the Breakers, Bandits and Gamblers (maybe relocate Gamblers to a market outside of Texas)

    Only markets I disagree with are the California cities. San Diego has too many technical issues and Oakland is not ideal. Both cities are also just as far out west as Portland and Seattle, the only problem is running teams in California is expensive and the entire state as a whole is way more saturated than the pacific northwest.

    The issue I have with UFL teams playing in NFL cities is that professional football as a whole is underrepresented because the NFL hasn't expanded to meet the demand. And while they might "expand" the fan base by giving fans pro football for most of the year, it can also have the opposite effect where a team like the Breakers could cut into the Saints fanbase especially if the Breakers become successful and the Saints start becoming losers again. It gives fans an out basically where they can say why should I support the Saints when the Breakers are the ones winning games. Pittsburgh and Philadelphia don't need UFL teams but then many of the things you would use to say they don't can just as easily be applied to Seattle, Denver and other NFL cities you mentioned that the UFL could expand to.
    If the UFL wants a winning strategy, they need to focus first on cities where they are likely to succeed but that aren't NFL markets. San Diego is one but Oakland wouldn't be because of the 49ers nearby. People will argue but even though they lost their team, city leadership in Oakland is some of the worst in the nation and this is hurting their fanbase for sports. The Raiders and A's brought billions of dollars to that city but when they asked for a new stadium, city leaders basically said ehhh... who needs them? I use Oakland as an example about businesses and why they left black communities due to Socialist Democrats and their anti wealth stance always attacking corporations and the wealthy and refusing to produce the incentives needed to keep employers in these communities. Most businesses are transient meaning they have the ability to pick up and move to other cities willing to provide the incentives they're looking for... ala Las Vegas luring both the Raiders and now the A's away from Oakland. The environment in Oakland is not conductive to any pro teams now or in the near future really.
    San Diego is a much better environment for the UFL because even if their leadership is poor, they don't have NFL competition and there's a rabid fanbase there that can be exploited if they reimagined the San Diego Fleet of the AAF giving them the second UFL's Destroyers name. I also disagree about Seattle because while I know you like the idea, moving that team to Portland as the Portland Dragons or resurrecting the name Portland Thunder would likely pay higher dividends if they can tie into the Seattle fanbase/market.
    But before we get ahead of ourselves, we have to discuss if there will even be a league as venture capital is dying off everywhere and FOX's investment here is basically venture capital. If this league doesn't get individual owners over these teams this year to start promoting each team in their markets, we're going to see empty stadiums again and cities/states not even knowing they have teams because, as we have discussed many times, FOX and the other ownership group are basically doing nothing at all to promote these teams to their markets. Where you might continue to support that expansion be put off a while longer like the league seems to be doing, the reality is they should have moved forward with individual ownership for each team in this off season and didn't. At least some form of 60/40 deal for prospective owners to have the minority part where they take over the promotion of the team in local markets and prepare for buying majority ownership when they are settled in a bit better and prove themselves to FOX that they are legit and not a bunch of criminals and bozo's like the ones in past leagues. Invite individual owners for a year or two monitoring and vetting them to make sure there's a firm financial foundation behind each team.
    I am dead serious, this is an enormous mistake not bringing in team owners over the off season where the league maintains majority control over each team until the owners prove themselves. Without someone in charge with resources to promote each team in their markets, this leagues in serious trouble and talking future expansion may be spitting into the wind.

    • @steveneighner7543
      @steveneighner7543 หลายเดือนก่อน

      While I think it unlikely that a team like the Breakers would cut into the Saints fanbase like I mentioned, it might be enough to make the Saints consider relocation if this happens and make the NFL see the UFL as a legit threat they'll use their wealth and influence with FOX to kill the UFL. The UFL should be more complimentary as Jacksonville keeps giving ramblings they may be relocating so a UFL team moving in to help that along would be complimentary and the UFL team could keep the Jaguars name. A deal like how the Browns left Cleveland with the name and legacy to basically become a new expansion team in Baltimore... leave the fans in the original cities with the name and if the NFL ever decides to move back, they have rights to reclaim the name if they wish.
      This is another element missing as the UFL needs to focus on complimenting and working with the NFL to expand into new markets where the NFL currently has no teams. Take Birmingham again as I've mentioned before how due to the Titans, Falcons, Buccaneers and Saints, Alabama has been carved up into existing team markets where the NFL is not going to let another NFL team play in Birmingham even if all the right conditions are met. Yet, none of those four NFL teams really tries to win over the Alabama fanbase and the same is true in other cases. The UFL needs to focus on where they could become an asset to the NFL and rather than proposing just where you'd like to see the first two expansion teams go, you gave us 13 lol.
      If I had to pin you down for what two cities you'd support, you'd obviously go with New Orleans and Seattle... you've made this abundantly clear. But, for me it would be San Diego and possibly Canton/Columbus reviving the Bulldogs identity. Louisville might be another good idea but I'm just not feeling that yet. Omaha is another one I'd support but I think the UFL has to think IMPACT and San Diego and Canton/Colombus might provide the biggest impact. If they went with four expansion teams in 2026 instead of two, I'd go with San Diego, Canton/Columbus, Omaha and (you're going to hate this) Shreveport rather than New Orleans as Independence Stadium I feel could be a better venue where they might possibly revive the old CFL Shreveport Pirates identity. Of course I anticipate New Orleans and Seattle getting the nod because I see how your thinking is following what would be the most logical course for the UFL which doesn't mean it's the best idea. They need to avoid playing in NFL markets and make their brand an expansion of pro football where the NFL doesn't play and to work more with the NFL in the process.

    • @ZombPhoxUFL
      @ZombPhoxUFL  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I do agree that San Diego is a much better option than Oakland when it comes to a possible CA former NFL team city. The most important thing the league needs is fan bases that will support a team. While I agree that it is better for football fans around the country to have UFL teams be in areas that don't have an NFL team so people can go to games live and support a local team, what is most important is having a great fan base. Seattle in 2023 despite all the issues the XFL schedule makers had still had better attendance than most UFL teams this past season despite them having the Kraken, Mariners, and Seahawks. A city like New Orleans is a great example of a city that has an NFL team, but deserves a UFL team as we saw how well they did on TV despite not having a team. Aside from New Orleans and Seattle I do think the NFL cities that should get a UFL team dwindles down to just a couple of other ones due to a lot of the reasons that you made. It ultimately comes down to the argument of exceptions, Seattle and New Orleans both should get their team's back, but Pittsburgh and Philadelphia I only briefly mentioned at the end because I feel almost every non-NFL city that has an argument would be better than them (same for the Florida cities/teams, NJ, NY, Vegas). If I had to pick the 4 expansion cities for the league over 2026-27 (without my bias for wanting a team in Raleigh) I would say 2026 be New Orleans and Columbus or Canton, and 2027 be Seattle and Portland or San Diego. I would also be fine with Louisville over an Ohio team if that's what it came down to. My biggest fear with the expansion is that the league might continue completely avoiding the west and just add teams on the eastern half of the country, which is the main reason I had Denver on my list was just because it is a city that would start western expansion without going fully to the coast. I do hope we see individual owners sooner rather than later as well.

    • @steveneighner7543
      @steveneighner7543 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ZombPhoxUFL but there's also the problem I mentioned of FOX and the other ownership groups poor leadership as you've mentioned 2025 needs to be a building year and yet, they did nothing about the key issue of having local investors to support and build the teams up in local markets. They need owners in these cities like I mentioned and with only minority ownership given authority to build the teams up, it would give the UFL a chance to vet the owner/investors to make sure they are both solvent and capable of managing a team. Without this, it can only be a replay of 2024 and that cannot happen or what fans they have are going to balk. Something dramatic has to happen to build support for each team as if you examine how venture capital is being withdrawn across the country, there are strong chances that if the UFL doesn't improve this year that FOX will pull out. Remember how the AAF lost it's ownership pulling out in what amounts to an under cover of the night movement killing the league. If FOX pulls out, who sponsors the UFL especially if they decide to do it mid season. As I mentioned, a lot of these networks are cutting costs everywhere now and some are up for sale. FOX came out the winner in this election but if Trump comes off like Democrats predict he will, then FOX will experience this same decline and cut support for a lot of things that could very well cut support for the UFL.
      So where you are talking about the UFL's future, you really need to look at the possibility there may not be a future as they need change and not a repeat of 2024.

      @@ZombPhoxUFL I don't know what happened to my last comment but it's not showing on my end lol. Basically, I brought up that they cannot have a repeat of 2024 as that would be a disaster as they need change and development. They need to get local ownership/investors like I mentioned because FOX can say all it wants that it's in for the long-haul but then the AAF did as well. Likewise, it's venture capital they're investing and we're seeing the media everywhere cutting costs and venture capital being dropped. All it takes is for Trump to become what Democrats say he will and FOX suffers a massive hit to their ratings and they'll start cutting as well and there goes the UFL. They need local owners to build up support for the teams and promote them as the current ownership structure seems to be doing almost nothing hoping just being on FOX is enough.
