Totally agree with that, koi farms take the best fry to grow on , give you the ones they have no use for. So how do I go about getting some fry from yourself ?
What temp are you at? I’m in Hampshire at 117 deg with no sight of spawning yet! Don’t work to hard Brother! Great update keep it going. I’ve got my porta pool set same as yours, all ready to go. Regards Bob the builder.
Plants are good for removing nitrate but your filter removes ammonia and nitrite this time of year start feed little and add a little bit more every week till filter bacteria builds up

@Marko this time of year I would feed twice a day as much as they eat in 5 minutes if any left floating after 5 minutes net it back off
