A walk through the alleys of Stein am Rhein!
The walk begins on the small island in the middle of the Rhine, the island Werd. This is also where the chapel of St. Otmar is located. Next, the route leads into the old town to the Schifflände. Not far from there is the Hexenturm. The route continues to the monastery of St. Georgen. The church also has a monastery museum. The tour then leaves the old town and leads uphill into the vineyards. Hohenklingen Castle towers above the town. From here you have an excellent view of the surrounding area. The journey continues through the forest to the sandstone caves of Stein am Rhein. Finally, the walk leads back to the city to the Obertor and the town hall square.
With this short walk you can visit the highlights of Stein am Rhein and get to know this beautiful city a little better...
