I am a Liverpool fan but I have been following Calcio from the early noughties when Capello won the title with Roma (though my favourite player was Nedved at that time.) Last year I fulfilled my dream to watch a Serie A game. 1st one was the Juve Lazio at the Allianz & then Roma Inter at the Olympico. It was great to hear about Cragnotti from Anubhuti. I hated him because he took away all the best players from my 2nd team - Valencia & the manger of that team joined Inter (Hector Cuper.) She is a very learned fan. If anyone wants to hear more about Italian football & its history, please follow the total football show - Golazzo by James Richardson, Gab Marcotti & James Horncastle. It has episodes about the Grande Torino, Hellas Verona’s Titke win, Napoli’s title win with Maradona etc. Love you guys. Keep going.

Lovely talk. Congrats! Impressive how detailed your memories are... A little comment: Lazio could/should have won the league in 1998/1999 too, but the referees killed us. In 2000 they tried to stop us again, but we finally managed to succeed.

I missed out on the 1986 scudetto nightmare game. Roma 2 Lecce 3. Roma were flying to a scudetto. Just imagine, Sven could’ve won a scudetto with both Roman clubs. Like I have mentioned in the video, had it not been for Lazio’s scudetto under Sven, Roma wouldn’t have gotten the push to go all out the very next season.
