I bought a 30ml bottle and arrives next week. I hope it will write like all the vids with Oxblood ink reviews. Now I can stop mixing red&green ink 50-50% with my 1ml seringe. Thanks for your version😃🇳🇱
Very nice ink, I would say my second favourite Diamine (after Royal Blue). It has very vintage appeal, and I used it in the past for personal letters (yes, I am old). Not too red, not too muted, just right and special, not something I would use on regular basis, because it looks so special and sophisticated. And as usual for Diamine, cheap and obtainable.
Honestly, I have this ink and even though it's considered a red ink I personally think that this is borderline brown (in the reddish brown) territory. I think this also fits its name. Its like a dried blood color to me. Its not my type of "red" ink. I like red inks that are similar in color with the noodler's fox red eternal ink. Reds that have that bold red color.
I’m trying to find a blood red ink with some decent waterproof and permanence for journaling? Any suggestions?
I love the Diamine value for your dollar. They have a bunch of great inks.

Have you tried the ancient copper? Wondering on your thoughts vs the oxblood
I’ll have to get that.
Yes the 30ml does have a small opening and is not as stable as most ink bottles.
All the more reason to use a blunt ink syringe.
My bottle of it just arrived today.

Hey Yvgenii, how you like that T1? I had bad experience with the nib and had to heavily grind it's baby's bottom to make it usable.
Honestly, I haven’t had any issues with my T1. Overall it’s pretty smooth and gives a good writing experience.
I really like dark red inks like this Oxblood, or Noodler’s Red Black. Thanks for the review.
Try writers blood
It's blacker than oxblood
