Oh vacation looked so fun! The beach, its our place to go often! My husband uses a old salad dressing jar that I panted black to cover the blue color. Car snack are a sanity saver :)))

Most years I go to Florida, but this year wasn't able to,. I really enjoyed the your family enjoying it, especially the beach, ocean and sunsets. Love when locals suggest a place to eat, usually really good food.

Our son and his wife and their children are in Sarasota so we go there a lot from our home in NJ. Headed there in 2 weeks !! I forgot there is an Amish population there which is pretty good sized

All the short time I lived there North Lido was my favorite beach. And the mini donuts in siesta village are just the best things ever.😍

Glad you guys had a nice vacation. Siesta is by far my favorite beach. I live about 45 mins away. So it’s definitely our #1 go to beach.

It looks like you had a really nice time! And your sons are adorable. My family went to Sarasota about five years ago because my aunt has a condo that she rents out, and last year we went to the West Palm Beach/Jupiter area because my mom grew up in that area. She had fun remembering everything and showing my brother and I her old favorite places. :)

I’ve been watching your videos for a couple months and I really like them. I live in Sarasota and love all the places you visited. As far as Walt’s goes you have to get there before 5...even in the off season it’s crazy busy. But so worth the wait. Next time you come down visit Alma Sue’s quilt shop...I’ll cut some fabric for you 👍🏼

I always feel sad when it's time to go home after vacations. You are about the beach the way I am about the mountains. I never want to leave! The beach was and is beautiful though especially the
sunset. Thanks for letting us join in! The meals looked fantastic and I love the copper stuff too! Target always has things no one else has. I say hassock and ottoman both. Hope it's spelled right🤔! Glad you all had such a great time. Always ends too soon! God bless, love and hugs to all 🤗💗🦋✝️

Got to the part where you referred to 'hassock'. Ha! Yes, I grew up calling those Hassocks cause my mom calls them that. I guess the distinction, is the longer cushioned ones (that people use for coffee tables) are what are called Ottomans. The smaller ones just for feet like that are called Hassocks.
I use to live just north of there in Bradenton. It was fun to watch this vlog and see all the places we have also been. Glad you had fun there. There is a Yoder restaurant there also in town.

Thanks for sharing your vacation! We usually go to St Pete beach every May but I don't know if we can go this year 😑 ugh. Our youngest daughter lives in Tampa and she kills us all year long with the beautiful pictures of the sunny Florida weather! Fun fact, in the early and mid 1980's when we lived there lido beach ( part of it) was a nude beach, lol. I guess it isn't anymore 😉 your trip looked fun, we still have snow on the ground here in Pennsylvania after last weeks storm😑 I need some sunshine!

I was really hoping you did a vlog of your vacation 😊 we didn't get to go to Florida this year😏 And we really like going to South Lido beach, mostly for the sake of there being a fraction of the people there 😊
Yea I know- although we usually try to go in through the beach accesses further up from the main Siesta parking lot. If you get there early enough you can park in one of those and you have way less people!! Seems a lot of people don’t know about those..

Lol. We aren’t closely related.. Yoder is extremely popular in the Amish and Mennonites.
@@LynetteYoder Yes it is at my last job My 3 bosses were 2 yoders and a 1 Miller all ex amish who are now mennonites. I guess it's less strict they wanted zippers and to drive cars. (over rated if you ask me)

WOW! You guys made right before Red Tide. Things are getting a way better now but holly molly thing were bad. The beaches and shores covered in dead fish and awful smell. Kids getting sick and people with breathing problems. Glad you guys got to enjoy a nice vacation.
