The second half of the last episode has always been my favorite. Five men that had pretty comfortable lives before the war saw unimaginable horrors and they wanted everyone to know war is hell despite what the politicians and public were telling them. I think the two standouts for me were Huston making a film about PTSD so soon after the war and Stevens becoming revered for dramas after becoming forever changed by the sights of Dachau.

If a 23 y/o Indian dude is able to understand the sacrifices made by the heroes, the racial division within the US at the time, and the epitomy of the American Dream through Frank Capra, then I think they really played a major role in human history.
