Well i have been lucky enough to see shannen as boleyn and parr, and i wore a copy of their costume my grandma made, so she noticed me and they are the nicest person ever

am i the only one who doesn’t like how unaccurate the swing costumes are , like i don’t understand why they get like 2 variations but not all the variations ? and wearing a boleyn skirt for cleves and howard just doesn’t sit right with me. They’re all so talented i just feel like they deserve the accurate variations of their costumes :(
The reason they have alt costumes is so they don’t have 6 different costumes like it was originally because of money reasons and the pattern stuck until bway/now new west end and uk tour casts. Since aus originally opened before bway and they all kept their costumes (except the new ppl) they kept the same thing with the 2 variations each. But I do get where you’re coming from but also like I was here when vicki did all 6 with the shorts etc like im just used to that lol
I don't really see the problem like not even the west end have all six variations for the alternate costumes and demanding that to the Australian cast is just asking for too much, and I don't have actually problem with she having the bobo skirt for cleaves I actually really like it, and well there has been a lot of times that they use the cleaves shorts for Boleyn so why it can't happen backwards?
I 100% agree it kinda bothers me, I wish they just gave Them shorts like the majority of the other teal alts and called it a day. That would’ve been so much easier.
@@clueless_dollz then people would complain about like shorts for seymour lol they just divided up the 6 alt variations between the 3 swings it’s simple enough with 2 each
i complain about the skirt specifically because it isn't the default version of the teal alt costume
i'm fine with shorts!seymour as long as it's a teal alt costume, but if you're going the extra mile with the skirt variation, you might as well go the right way
