I’m looking to buy my first Aston after watching half a dozen of your videos. I think I’ll wait until I’ve managed to watch them all I would have been like a lamb to the slaughter prior to watching Bamford rose. Seeing only my dream car Now I have some idea of what can be cloaked over by dealers sellers and the like By the time I go out physically looking I am sure I will get value for money and my dream not a nightmare.
I'll reply James as it's my car. BR manifolds, 200 cell cats with small silencers/baffles immediately behind each cat then standard beyond that: no X-pipe (didn't like that) and OEM Vantage S backbox. Took me two goes to get there but it is now just how I wanted it (and quick).
What are your thoughts on adding an X-pipe? I have headers, high flow cats and the "S" bock box on my 4.7L. I'm worried the X-pipe would get rid of the British Muscle sound and be too exotic.
It's my car in the video Mike. I had the X-pipe on version 1 of my BR exhaust and it wasn't for me. The top end was wild (and great) but the lower revs bass and burble were lost and I didn't want that. If your car is currently too loud then go for the mini silencers behind each cat that mine now has.
@@petebungay953 Thanks! Never too loud. However not sure I want to loose the lower end burble at idle. Someone should make a solenoid operated valve in an X-pipe to stay dual at low rpms for sound and torque, then open at higher rpms for power and exotic sound.
Will always be one of the best sounding exhaust notes!😍

Why not have BR perform a PPI on them?
Close with the fire extinguisher
Same type of video for DB9 please. Looking for a DBS like sound if possible.
That is a glorious noise love it !!!
What about the factory sport option (AD23-5230-AE)?
I really love you guys videos and information. Very good stuff
Thank you very much. Is the vantage s silencer the same one in the N430?
I always enjoy your videos
So are you not a fan of the aston titanium back boxes dont think you mentioned it thanks again great channel 👍
Do I hear a physical rev limiter? Very cool sound!
My silencer is AD23-5230-AE do you know what that’s off? Web seems to suggest n420 or v12? How would it compare to the BG?
I thought that you'd also suggested using a DBS backbox - or was that only for the V12 engines?
Perfect 👌🏼
What was the exhaust setup of the V8VS at 0:25 Mike? Was that a stock V8VS backbox with BR manifolds and 200 cell catalysts?

Do the 4.3s have secondary cats? I thought it was just the twin singles?
Correct.
