Nice 300 game, Kyle. I was trying to bowl a 300-game three times this year after having the front 9, but I choked in the tenth frame, ended up bowling a 288(at Roseland Lanes: Oakwood Village, Ohio), a 279(at Northwood Lanes: Nordonia, Ohio), and 289(at Rollhouse of Mentor: Mentor, Ohio). And I was so close to bowling my first 300 game in my life.

I couldn’t imagine Alex Ovechkin (NHL) having a hat-trick and none of the players applauding or Nolan Arenado (MLB) hitting a cycle and players not applauding… In my opinion it doesn’t matter how often it happens, it should be applauded for.
What's really sad is that there's only 21 places to cash... That makes it hard for the guys break even much less make a decent living... I was good enough to give it a try back in the late 90's, but staying with my day job because of that same reason
Every pair is different on the tour. Just because it worked on one pair doesn't mean it will work anywhere else. He threw the same ball the first few shots in the game after the 300 and it was over hooking
in all honesty, its absolutely ridiculous how punishing it is to be on the pba tour. you gotta be so good just to make any money. many people can bowl local tournaments every weekend and make a couple thousand in amateurs and yet its so much harder to do that on tour. how come bowlero cant give some more prize money. they clearly have enough money to do so. or even a community funded prize pool. if every ball sale from every company added a dollar to the pba prize funds, even that would help a lot.
