@@ryufei A lot of children are usually accepted into programs like that so it's less noticeable if you make it in therefore people are less likely to care, I have a friend who goes to a similar program and I genuinely think someone was on something because he is about as smart as a rock. In my opinion in makes it less worth it to go into programs like that because you are not learning what is expected from a program like that because it's toned down for people like my friend who really shouldn't be there, and it really only gives you more work, You could make the argument if the work was good it could teach you things but from my experience it's just the same work everyone that isn't in the program is doing except just a larger amount of said work.
@@ryufei it depends on how it's run, the programs I've seen were run by people who could care less about giving children gifted with knowledge a better education, but if your programs are run differently then good on you and yes, I do agree with you they can be very successful if run properly

@@ryufei A lot of children are usually accepted into programs like that so it's less noticeable if you make it in therefore people are less likely to care, I have a friend who goes to a similar program and I genuinely think someone was on something because he is about as smart as a rock. In my opinion in makes it less worth it to go into programs like that because you are not learning what is expected from a program like that because it's toned down for people like my friend who really shouldn't be there, and it really only gives you more work, You could make the argument if the work was good it could teach you things but from my experience it's just the same work everyone that isn't in the program is doing except just a larger amount of said work.

@@ryufei it depends on how it's run, the programs I've seen were run by people who could care less about giving children gifted with knowledge a better education, but if your programs are run differently then good on you and yes, I do agree with you they can be very successful if run properly
