So, to state the obvious: yes, I stopped using text-to-speech. If it's not your cup of tea, I'm sorry, but the increased productivity is worth it for me. Instead of releasing 3 episodes per week, I can do 5. I just hope that this more structured style of video, where I can spend a little more time putting my thoughts into the microphone at a more steady pace, will make my bad narration a little bit more bearable. :) As for this series: as I've said at the end, it will be a more structured, and less "go with the flow" kind of thing. We will go over all the important game systems, and I will try to do both the basics, and share some more advanced tips that I might come up with along the way. This does not mean that I stopped doing lets-plays though. Once this series is complete, and if I feel like doing it, I would love to do another series, where I would just be building stuff. But I got my first big boost in subscribers when I released my original rail signal tutorial video, and I would love to say thanks by teaching you all about what I know about the game. As for the current ongoing series, they aren't going anywhere. Because I cannot predict when the next episode of this series will be out, I decided to just upload them immediately after they are done, and they will go public alongside the regularly scheduled videos.
pretty good voice not as sophdt as canonical English but still good. Main issues at the moment are: - echo - put comething soft or paper pack of eggs in room corners. - whistle on 's', 'th' sounds, it can be painful at moments, but this is only training.
English isn´t my firts language and I can understand you perfectly. I don´t mind the accent. I even have more problems with the accent of some anglo youtubers. xD I´m looking for a step by step tutorial for playing realistic mode when the game abandons early access and this seems to be the start of what I´m looking for :)
I watched your let's plays and recently bought that game for myself. Did all the tutorials, tried creating a new republic, messed up in the first five minutes, got fustrated, and then a week later you start a life saving series. Thank you very much for helping us rookies!
A very good idea for a series. A decent series of tutorials on TH-cam for version 1.0 will be useful! It's nice to see You again in my favorite game :p And I think Your English is great. I understand what You're saying and it's nicer to listen to than poly voice :)
YES! WRSR! No problem on the text to speech I had to take a training that used the same poly voice you used to use for this game, made it a little weird.
I was watching your videos last year and used somekind text-to-speech audio. I just comeback because this video just appear on my feed and got a little shock that now you are using your real voice. Well done🎉
Nice to finally hear your voice! And thank you for actually showing what the different options do. So many people do a tutorial but don't show the different options and what actually changes when you change the settings. Greatly appreciate it and I'm looking forward to a new series going into full release. Thanks for the great content!
So glad the mighty algorithm recommended me this series. Looks great! I've been looking forward to playing the full release, but also a bit intimidated by how deep the game is. This might be exactly what I need to get going. Thanks!
Don't worry about turning some of the difficulty options off. You will inevitably fail the first couple times, so you can turn them on for any new attempts. :)
@@Hmuda Well, difficulty is one thing (like starting money and maybe those population reactions), but I'm the kind of player who can't turn off cool mechanics, so my first instinct is always to enable realism mode :D That's my struggle.
I think you have a very good english accent considering your origin and in any case it's much better than the TTS - took a while to get used to it back then, but in any case - I'm interested in how you play and you're let's plays of this game were a masterpiece which is why I've been your subscriber for a long time and not planning to stop anytime soon Although I've lost interest in this game specifically due to some of the developer's (or publisher's) decisions, I'm still an avid viewer and subscriber and I will continue to support you as such as long as I find the channel interesting with games like COI & WR:SR where you usually put a lot of thought into your builds and come up with interesting ideas that get me thinking - keep it up - it seems to be working and drawing more loyal viewers and subs to your channel,
Finally we are bak comrades “for the soviet union and the soviet republic, we work together for a bright and glorious future”, maybe you can use this frase for the start of the next season?
Originally from Hungary, but my accent is a mish-mash of Hungarian, US, and UK accents. I spent years in the US and London, so it's a bit all over the place. :D
Thank you very much for this much needed series for this game. I feel like the developers let this game out of early development a little too soon, 'cause when I clic on the "?" for some of the buildings it says information about other things, but not for the buildings in that section! Also I feel the tutorials lack a little more depth for a game that can be as complex as this (if you choose). Honestly the tutorials feel a little lacking. The help text for train signals straight out tells you that it is very complex to explain so you better look it up elsewhere XD Regardless I am having fun with this game so far :)
The first videos I watched from your channel were all those Workers and Resources gameplays, honestly I'm glad how much your channel progressed from that time.
At this point I have no real attachment to that republic. If I tried to continue it, I would just end up being confused about what I was doing half a year ago. I prefer having things being fresh in my head, makes it a lot easier to remember what goes where. For a complex game like this, having a clear idea about such things is important. :)

Your accent can be pretty heavy at times. It may be worth it to do some pronunciation practice to try a "softer" accent.

better i fond the text to speech voice very jarring. good to hear your voice
Hey man! It's great to hear your voice! It's not an issue at all, I was just used to expecting the t2s haha
I watched your let's plays and recently bought that game for myself. Did all the tutorials, tried creating a new republic, messed up in the first five minutes, got fustrated, and then a week later you start a life saving series. Thank you very much for helping us rookies!
I can only hope that it will be helpful. :)
@@Hmuda This episode has already been helpful. Explained a lot of things that I didn't understand in the settings! :D

despite having nearly 200 hours, a tutorial series is much appreciated still
YES! WRSR!
No problem on the text to speech
I had to take a training that used the same poly voice you used to use for this game, made it a little weird.
Welcome back comrade🎉
The great Comrade is back!
Workers and Resources game is the first game i watched on your channel, i love this game, wish you the best 💪💪
I prefer this to Speech to text 👌

HMUDA DID WORKERS YAY! THANK TO OUR GLORIOUS SOVIET LEADER!
Your soviet accent is so authentic!! Nailed it!!

Looking forward to this series , really enjoyed your previous ones and layouts

One thing to note about the "Global Events" options is that "Serious" adds in Earthquakes and perhaps other very impactful events. New in 1.0
I was waiting for new series. Thank you!
I already used your videos as tutorials.
Wait a minute this is ONLY a TUTORIAL SERIES?
Yes, a regular lets play series will come after this one. I want to ease myself back into the game, I've been gone for a long time.

Yeah, so nice to hear your voice. So much better then some AI
Great, look forward to future videos on this title
Very well explained 👍 newly subscribed

Not sure I can deliver it convincingly. :D
Just curious where are you from? I don't recognize your accent.

We are so back
great please go on!

Lets fuckin go
Are you going to continue S3 because it stoped in episode 42 last december and it never went on?

Where is the language change option? I have the installation on GoG.
I don't know about the GOG version, but on steam there is a setup window that pops up at the start. The language can be changed there.
E02?
No promises, but a day or two, hopefully.
Really looking forward to the next one!
No problem understanding everything you're saying btw, and I'm no native english speaker either.
Omg i'm so happy with this series. God save our glorious general secretary hmuda
