She was 14, when the song was released in May of 1997, she turned 15 on August 28, 1997. The song set several records on the Hot 100, most weeks in the top 40, 62 weeks I believe, most week in the top 10 (32). The song never reached #1, as the death of Princess Diana, and the the updated version of Candle in the Wind, in which the proceeds went to the Princess's charity fund. Kept the song from reaching the top spot. But it is the #4 song all time on the Hot 100 (all time list).

I love this song, this was recorded by Lee Ann and again by Trisha Yearwood for the movie ConAir, they went with Trisha because they felt a 15yr old couldn't feel this kind of emotion
Lee Ann got her first record deal at the age of 13, releasing the song that Pasty Cline was on her way to check out and possibly record called Blue

    • @kaydee63

Back in 1996/'97 while living in Garland, Texas where LeAnn is from. I meant her. We lived in an apartment complex, and she along with her family was living in another apartment complex next to ours. This is back when she was just starting to become big.
I was working at an Albertsons grocery store, and they had a huge parking lot, for which they allowed her to park her tour bus in during the entire holiday season. One evening, she came through my checkout line. Well I wasn't really into her, but she did look familiar to me, I just couldn't place her. She and a small entourage came through. She was very friendly, smiling and such. Well after she left out of my line, I happened to see a country magazine with her photo on the front cover. That's when I realized who she was...

The Judds - Love Can Build a Bridge
The Judds were the biggest Country Duet in the 80’s. Mother/Daughter took over Country with their sound and magical songwriting. Mom, Naomi, brought a lot of drama though. Once a back-up singer for Elvis, she was never truthful to daughter Wynonna (who has a great solo career) about who her father is. Just saying, look at Wynonna and Elvis, then make up your own mind.

Great theme song from Con-Air. They didn't use her version for the movie, however, they used Trisha Yearwood's version. If you want another angelic voice, try "The Lord's Prayer", "Music of the Night" or "Nessun Dorma" by Jackie Evancho when she was just 11 years old, or her newest video "Burn" now at 19 from Hamilton.

this song brings back memories of when you used to call the radio station and ask the DJ to play this song then call your girl and tell her to tune in lol

I know this song is about a relationship, but it came out when I had my daughter. I was so happy and loved her so much. I would sing this to her all the time.

Title song for the movie Con-Air. but because she was only 15, they wanted an older singer. So they got Tricia Yearwood..
