1st. Guard 1st. day for King's Colour Squadron Royal Air Force at Buckingham Palace

First Guard on the first day this year for the King's Colour Squadron Royal Air Force to guard Buckingham Palace. Ends on the first guard at St. James's Palace. Waiting tourists soon discovered that on this day the usual Changing of the Guard Ceremony was cancelled in favour a private Royal Garden Party inside the grounds of Buckingham Palace. Access to the front railings outside Buckingham Palace plus the Victoria Memorial was also cordoned off.
Please Note: - Areas surrounding Buckingham Palace & Horse Guards Parade are becoming more difficult access and with added security expected over the coming weeks we have taken the difficult decision to pause film making from Monday 20 May ’24 until after The King’s Birthday Parade.
