Crete is such a beautiful and lovely place. I would like to stay and spend my entire life in Greece. I agree I was wrong most beautiful place in this world is Greece not Switzerland. Beautiful islands of Greece are so enchanting. "Incredible Crete".
I love to stay in Crete, I have been there 3 years in a row, only last year I couldn´t and this summer is soooo unsure because of the virus and travel restrictions. I am from Norway and have greek family there - sometimes family is who is in your heart, not by blood. I will come back, be sure!
@@BertChristiaens I was so lucky this summer to have tickets in the little slot in end of July till mid August, when it opened up for some travel, so my daughter and I was happy to go for 15 days on a marvellous, but different holiday; first time in Paleochora and Loutro, fantastic! I certainly hope the vaccines will be effective soon, so things can go back to normal in all countries around the world.

I rarely comment on videos but for you I have to make an exception. I visited Crete for the first time in July and immediately fell in love with the place and its people. You perfectly captured the atmosphere of the island and landed some amazing shots! This really felt good to watch and brought back beautiful memories :) When did you film the footage, the lighting is great and the beaches so empty :D
I did not visit it (yet), Actually I went to Agios Nikoloas one time, but did not have my drone with me. When i'll come back to crete, it will definitly be on my list :)

I gotta say, I've seen many videos of Crete on TH-cam but this one is very special. The way you shot landscapes truly reflects the beauty of the island. The information on screen was appreciated too. I've learned things that even I didn't know and I'm from Crete haha. Really now? That's Crete? This video my friends shows only 1% or even less of the beauty of this island. Lasithi Plateau, Vai palm forest, Elounda Bay, Knossos and Festos palaces, Mesara's valey, Arcadi and many other historical monasteries, Samaria gorge and its unique fauna, Mirabello Bay, I can continue for hours and still leave lots of places out! Btw, Crete does not end at Rethymnon there is also the east part of the island, so I propose to change the title to " Beautiful west Crete in 20 min".

Very nice vid. Beautifully visionized parts of Crete. But the title should be "Beautiful parts of Crete" since you only showed Chania, Heraklion and Rethymnon. but forgot Lasithi. These 4 creates the whole of Crete...But nicely done tho.
Beautiful shots Bert! I was there in February and made a quick video of a restaurant on the beach. When I got home I wish I shot more. So in Juni I'm going back for another try. Give us more video's haha!

@@BertChristiaens I was stationed in the Air Force there and it was a great time. We were able to hunt partridge in the mountains, scuba dive at places, body surf and explore all over the Island. We camped at Vai and walked to a nearby village and attended a wedding reception and there was no electricity there at the time. We would sneak girls into the Minoan Palace at night to show it to them. The meals and the wine were so precious. I took my wife to Crete 20 years later as I was not married while there and she also fell in love with the place. However, it sure had changed on the North side. Glad you had a great time there. No, they didn't make any problem. People are pretty chill there about drones, Just don't do it in plain sight of the police

I lived on Crete for 17 months in 1965-66. Enjoyed your video and glad to see there is still a lot of open space on the Island.

@@BertChristiaens I was stationed in the Air Force there and it was a great time. We were able to hunt partridge in the mountains, scuba dive at places, body surf and explore all over the Island. We camped at Vai and walked to a nearby village and attended a wedding reception and there was no electricity there at the time. We would sneak girls into the Minoan Palace at night to show it to them. The meals and the wine were so precious. I took my wife to Crete 20 years later as I was not married while there and she also fell in love with the place. However, it sure had changed on the North side. Glad you had a great time there.
