Patience, lots of patience. My grandfather joined the church after 60 years of marriage to my faithful member grandmother. My father joined the church after 50 years of marriage to my faithful member mother. Unexpected miracles happen.
Also, have you discovered the YT channel Missionary Discussions? If your hubby is still into podcasts and stuff, that might be a fun one for him. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Thanks for having me on, Latter-day Believers! This was a great experience and even healing for my husband and I. I was very nervous to talk about some of these things and totally went off on tangents! 😅 If you have any questions or want closure on one of my rants, please reach out! ❤
I really like you Arantza!! Thank you for being so vulnerable and for sharing your story. You are a powerhouse! I think you are very articulate and authentic. You can go off on tangents to me anytime! Many will be strengthened by hearing your story. So much love to you❤
You have nothing to apologize for. Yours was the most useful video I’ve seen on YT in quite awhile. I’m writing because a Condie family lived near me whenI grew up in Salt Lake City, and one of the branches of that family is also active in the Church with a friend of mine who lives in El Paso, TX. I just wondered whether you your family might be related to theirs. It would surprise me if not. Thank you. You were a great missionary today.
You my dear sister have a beautiful soul and such understanding of the gospel and you had me shedding tears when you told about your son wanting to live with you forever!! So inspired.
I can appreciate this young lady commenting on the fact that everyone will or has messed up some where along their spiritual journey and no one is perfect. I also loved her comment to " choose joy ". I am hoping her husband will or has regained his testimony. As we all know nobody can do this for him.
Great interview. Arantza is a great example of how to navigate a spouse who doubts or does not believe. Kiddos to your Chad of a husband bringing the kids to church. THAT'S A REAL MAN 💪💪💪 Will bless your kids and family tremendously
I have a female cousin that married an atheist. He eventually took missionary lessons, started believing in God, and was baptized. A while later they went through the Temple. Now he is a councilor in their ward bishopric...miracles of truth do occur. The gospel is true. It's our only way back.
For those who really want to know if the Church is true, please understand, that you can ask everybody if the Church is true and they will share their answers. But understand the Spirit, the Holy Ghost, is the one that will speak to your heart. He is the one who will convert you. So ask Heavenly Father with true intent. Ask him if the Church is true.
That is so true!! Learning to pray and have those sincere conversations with my Father in Heaven was not an easy or natural thing for me to do. But the more I applied myself and prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, the more I began to feel that peace. The things I talked about in this interview were all the results of faith and prayer 🤍
I love this girl, but one thing she needs to be careful about is to not think everything is related to heavenly Father, her punishing or blessing us... Like her losing her keys.... That happens all the time so just be careful... Because there's going to be times where you feel like you're being good and bad things happen.... Just know life happens and sometimes it's not related to God
I feel sad that you left the Jesus of the BIBLE, &are embracing the 'Jesus' of the BoM+... You must now believe the Bible isn't being truthful when it confirms over and over that there is ONE God (Ex20:3, Deut6:4, 2Kings19:15&19, Isa44:6&8&24, 45:5&6&21&22, 46:9&10, 48:12&13, Joel2:27, Zech14:9, Mark12:29, John5:44, James2:19, Rev1:8&17&18, 21:6)... You now believe that JSJ saw something no one else in biblical history was shown: TWO 'Gods' (separate and individual)... The Jesus from the BIBLE never even showed devoted disciples that sight (John14:6-9)... You also must believe the Bible isn't being truthful when it assures the Lord's guidance never changes (Malachi3:6, Hebrews13:8, etc)... You now trust a PROPHET to deal with 'God/God's' changing mind... Sigh...
Wow, I agree that drinking and partying is not good and me personally I do not drink. Those that drink once in a while is a glass of wine sinful? Was that not Jesus first miracle changing water to wine at the wedding feast? Did he not say in SCRIPTURE UNLESS YOU EAT MY BODY AND DRINK MY BLOOD YOU DO NOT EVERLASTING LIFE! What I do not agree with Mormons is you never have guarantee of salvation. I have learned Mormonism to be a religion based on works for salvation. The Bible teaches us that we cannot earn our salvation it is a free gift. Once we accept that free gift of salvation, his death on the cross shedding HIS blood for us, is our free gift and because we accept that free gift we do good works because we LOVE JESUS. THE GOOD WORKS DO NOT GET US TO ENTER HEAVEN THEY JUST SHOW THAT WE LOVE JESUS! Jesus shedding HIS blood for those who Love HIM OPENS THE GATES OF HEAVEN. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MORMONS AND CHRISTIANS IS THE DIFFERENT BELIEFS-CHRISTIAN, PROTESTANTS AND CATHOLICS BELIEVE IN THE TRINITY! Our fundamental belief is that there are three persons in one GOD, FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT! Any religion that does not teach the Bible and the above is a false prophet!
I promise you that most of what you have learned about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is inaccurate and I plead with you to speak to missionaries or others who can truly help you understand the doctrine. And we most certainly study the Bible, teach the Bible, and preach the Bible. Hebrews 13:8 says that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If that's true, then why wouldn't God use prophets to speak His children today? After all, Christ has not yet come again. You are right. We are saved only through Jesus Christ. And that is why I want to show good works. Jesus Christ asks us to repent and follow Him. How are we to do that if we don't obey Him? Ephesians 2:10 "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."
Unfortunately what you stated in your comment is not accurate. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Believe in the Bible and the Biblical Christ. Christ is the only way to salvation. NOTHING we do can ever save us, only Christ can. Our “works” are simply “love signs” to God that we love Him and desire Him to be our God. Christ said “ If ye love me ye shall keep my commandments.” So we strive to keep His commandments because we love Him, not because it saves us. Praying that you can build your relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ. That the love, peace and joy you feel with Him in your life, can replace the fear and anger you feel towards people who are a little bit different than you. And just a little reminder, There is a commandment where God states “thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.” Your comment was not factual. It’s easy to perpetuate falsehoods. But the good Lord does not smile upon it. Best of blessings as you sort through all the misinformation and falsehoods out there. ❤️☀️
It’s so strange to me that someone would point the finger of scorn at a fellow humble, sincere traveler who found Christ and that relationship helped her overcome serious addiction. 🤷♀️ And her relationship with Christ blesses her and her family so much… and her membership in a church brings her so much joy. Wow! Just can’t wrap my head around it. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
@kennethdufour7919, I am a Latter-day Saint. Latter-day Saints are encouraged to abstain from alcoholic drinks. While I was in the Navy, my Christian roommate (who kinda had a drinking problem at the time) asked me if I thought it was sinful for him to drink. I replied that I believe it is sinful to do something you believe God does not want you to do. Later that day he poured all his liquor into the toilet. Similarly, if Arantza drank that wine, knowing she shouldn’t, then yes, her act was sinful. Thankfully, we have a Savior, Jesus Christ, who willingly gave his life, was bruised for our iniquity, and with his stripes we are healed. We believe the Bible to be the word of God. I agree with all of your biblical statements in your comment. We partake of the body and blood of Christ in remembrance of Him and his covenant with us every Sunday. We believe that we are saved by Grace after all we can do, or in other words in spite of all we can do. Our works don’t save us, Christ does. We also believe that we will be judged by our works (Ps. 62:12; Prov. 24:12; Jer. 17:10; 32:19; Matt. 16:27; Rom. 2:6; 14:12; Rev. 2:23; 22:12). Faith and works are like two sides of a coin, as James teaches in James 2:18. And I would encourage you to read the Savior’s sermon on the mount and consider his stance toward works before positing that works have no relevance to our faith or salvation (for example Matt 7:21,24). Latter-day Saints believe the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are one. But we do not believe in trinitarian dogma. I’ve read the bible several times and never read the word trinity in the text, nor do I believe in the creeds that established those dogmas several hundred years after Christ’s Apostles died. We believe that Christ’s prayer to the Father in John 17 helps us understand more fully how the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are one. I hope this helps clarify our views, and I appreciate you asking about some of the points of doctrine that you had questions about.
I'm here listening as one on the outside now. I am genuinely curious about her experience... I just can't see how a fallacious Apologetics makes up the difference for an established fact. 🤷♂️ Kerry Muhlstein admits his confirmation bias approach to Abraham revelation - Dr. Robert K Ritner (RIP) gave his academic facts. Turning off reason on the matter & praying about something I see as false makes as much sense as praying for a witness about flat earth theory... sorry... like her husband, I still attend and support my wife. I love Jesus' style - you're not going to convince me that polygamy was, or is necessary, or to defend the bigotry of the Priesthood ban.
What a beautiful woman with a beautiful testimony and commitment to The Lord and His Gospel.

Artanza, thanks for sharing your conversion story. It's so cool that you found the true Church of Jesus Christ! I really enjoyed this conversation.
I think moving forward there will be a wave of much stronger converts because of what you guys are doing, keep it up!

Those who seek the Lord will be guided to Him. It is so great that you recognize God's hand in your life and can discern between good and evil.

For sure! I was mostly joking there haha. That is why I love the story of Job. I tend to be extremely hard on myself.

@@wellsjdan Thanks for pointing that out, btw. That's such an important topic ❤
Great testimony. Also, she sounds like Mila Kunis.
It's no problem. In the afterlife she might be married to Russell Nelson or Dallin Oaks as a plural wife.
