Gillian is a legend! Here we see a composer whose status is immense, a harmonic world as yet unexploited. I guarantee that in 200 years this music will sound fresh. Now it just sounds baffling!
But when you look at this more closely, you see that Gillian understands B Major not as a key but as textural space. And it's from here, I think, that a true understanding of music needs to depart...
Of course I enjoyed a lot the music but was frustrated to see decorations as soon as the left hands starts to go faaaaast ! Thanks and congratulations anyway
My favourite rendition so far. Such a delicate sound in a wonderful acoustic. A great credit to the organist, composer and organ builder.
She makes it all look so effortless!
Stunning!

@@Tbop3 The organist.
perfect in every moment! wonderful playing, I know that this is a very difflcult piece from Louis Vierne! My respect!
So beautiful! Love this piece, Love Vierne's music.
she plays with great musicality
very nice, played beautifully, effortlessly and naturally
Beautifully played.. and such a pretty dress!
So wonderful! Vierne would be so pleased.
Alexander Schreiner at the MORmON Tabernacle organ is also great.
The Nazard is under expression.
Why does Weir have to play everything at lightning speed?
just some of the music she chooses.
that speed is original one. all others I heard play it so slow, I can't listen to them
No. The score says 76BPM. Far slower than this. "non troppo vivo"
@@EmeraldPixelGamingEPG yeah, but I feel that Naiades are young fairies, not old grandmas. So, speed is justified

Only a hater would downvote this.
A jellous one at that
