The older mold ARC were based on the Dark Horse Comic Clone Wars version of ARCs. I always liked that look better than the plain version…but still love this version too.
@@micejoint132 Personally, I wouldn't say hate, but I prefer the TCW designs for Arcs over the FCW Arcs. I just don't like the grey chest armor. Otherwise, I like the Order 66/ARC 17 type of Arc Trooper design. I feel you get the best of both worlds.
I was so lucky to get both of these guys this past week. I ordered them Tuesday and got them the next day. Didn't even have to pay extra for shipping at Walmart
I have so many of the dark horse order 66 arc troopers. When the economy was still booming around 2016-2018 I bought every one I could off eBay and was lucky enough to get four of the yellow arc troopers as well. Funny enough the red arc trooper with the torn Kama had a bootleg for a while and I ordered one and gave it a heavy trooper visor from a Lego set to distinguish it from the rest.
I got 2 of the arc troopers and one of the fordos They are sooo awesome, the cardbacks are super clean. I dont mind the blue arc having the pistols, i have one of the arcs displayed with the arc rifle and one with the regular dc15. Man they look so awesome together Also got 2 of the droids cuz they nice.. i may actually get the other 3 figures from this line to finish up the collection.
Maybe the Fordo name issue has to do with Hasbro copyright As I remember the reason why we didn't get any new Bumblebee figures during the Beast Wars and Unicron Trilogy eras was because Hasbro lost the copyright to that name.
What you could do to really make that Fordo complete to the micro series is give him the wrist gauntlet attachment from the Fordo in the Arc troopers battle pack.
Some of the ARC Troopers used DC-15A's with a grenade launcher and some of them used Westar M5's I managed to order some of the Westar M5's on eBay lol the Blue ARC's look super kool with the rifles
I got two Fordo's this past week and the cards were SCREWED; one was crushed to a point where it was not even hard to open it; the other was just creased and such. It sucks but I'm still glad I got it.
If you know someone with a 3D printer then you could always print some white rectangles to fit in the holsters along with the show accurate rifles. Turn those holsters into ammo pouches and then everything will be as it should.
Hoping I can snag a few of these at some point, Walmart Canada being trash as usually and as far as I know never putting up preorders and then only have them being sold by third party sellers on their site.

Bodie Taylor was meant to play the "clone in his early 20's" (ignoring the rapid aging in that statement for simplicity's sake), which was what most of the clones in the AOTC era were at. By the end of the war they had aged physically by 6 years.

Hey J4 great vid man! Love those arc troopers i even picked up a few of each myself. Just curious, are you gonna make a vid talking about the tiger shark gunship or talking about your display of the vintage collection arc troopers?
You see the team twice, once on Muunilinst and once during the rescue on Hypori. While this is purely speculation, I like to think that all the surviving troopers of the Muunilinst mission got promoted to ARC trooper.
Every clone who disobeyed the order had some sort of reason in doing so. For Rex, he only realized what was happening because he was the only clone to really interact with Fives after Fives had discovered the truth. It hit him when it happened and he was able to give Ahsoka a bit of info before he had to obey. I doubt Fordo would have had such a luxury, so he likely obeyed.
I'm afraid it'll be a while. With my leg brace it makes even filming normal videos mildly difficult, trying to film a large vehicle like that would be too difficult for me currently. Hopefully within the coming months!
I know it probably wasn't intentional but I like to imagine the two TVC Fordo releases having "captain" and "commander" on the cards is a reference to the fact that at several points in the show he's mistakenly referred to as a commander instead of captain. Like I said, I sincerely doubt they did that on purpose, but it's funnier to think of it that way.
In my head I always think he was CALLED Commander because while he didn't have the RANK of commander, he was the mission commander. But truthfully it was just an oversight because it was a cartoon for kids and they weren't worried about getting ranks right. lol
I don't fault you for buying multiples at all mate. Army building is perfectly legitimate and understandable. It could be worse. You could be a reseller. I have no sympathy for resellers.
To be honest, the red Arc Trooper was literally called everything but his actual rank of Captain. So, I don't think Frodo was even in the show until the final battle. He's just a combination of the different red Arcs in that show.
those are just discrepancies in the scripting. the red arc trooper from volume one and the start of chapter 21 on hypori was always meant to be the same guy. the commander on coruscant being the same character is from a star wars insider article.

Managed to get myself one of the Fordo’s a few minutes ago. It’s like the first 3.75 inch figure I’ve bought and I’m very excited for him.

I just think of the ARC Trooper as an ARC Trooper Rex.
It's just a regular ARC lieutenant. The blue striping is because the Alpha ARCs continued to use the rank colors for the duration of the war.

That body does fit with phase 1 definitely! I think it’s the helmet and the thing around the waist

Wasn't 7 of the Muunilist 10 team just standard regular troopers? There were only 2 lieutenants alongside Fordo.
