The things that's sad about Doey killing his parents is that he's still technically a child. I have two theories. 1: Obviously since Doey is still a child, maybe he blames his parents for everything that happened to him and that's why he doesn't want to take to them. 2: Doey already had symptoms of that "different personality" that only hurts people, and was telling his parents to leave him alone in fear of what he would do to them which is even sadder considering he still has a child's brain.
