    Most counties in Florida won't allow tiny homes on your property.
    We need to get the word to County Officials that We The People want alternative housing choices.

    There's so much demand and opportunities for smaller, energy efficient home communities. They don't need to be extreme tiny "trailers". 1000-1200sf homes would be awesome. Developers could add the most current eco-friendly energy solutions.

      they do.. its called a MOBILE Home or trailer. The point of a tiny house is to be able to move it and get around many laws that prevent structures over 600sq ft. do you know how hard it is to tow a 10ft wide x 100ft long trailer... that is 1000sqft

      Interest.
      Think of our Homeless issues, lack of community support is what keeps it going & community leaders can be paralyzed by political pressure.
      We have the answers & solutions! Tiny houses? Boxable Homes? Equity amongst school resources, comprehensive mental & physical health services.
      We have to "Evict" the current mindset, address the underlying political gesturing and sheer greed.

    I got to tour an Escape tiny house at one of the Florida Tiny House Festivals. I believe it was the XL model. It was by far one of my favorites! The quality of these is top-notch. The layout is great. I could totally see myself living in one. The only thing holding me back is my ability to legally put it on a foundation on a small piece of property that I would have to buy. It's illegal in my county. To make it legal, I'd have to put it in the backyard of an existing home as an accessory dwell unit (ADU). Well, I can't afford to buy a home, which is why I want to live in a tiny to begin with. I'm hoping the laws change in the near future so I can make this dream a reality.

      Thank you for the tour. It's a great tiny home park. However your inconsistencies kept throwing me off. At one point you were giving us great information about the price & specs. I would have loved that information on All of the units you toured. I loved your music selection, but the whole video was choppy where that was concerned. Very abrupt music transitions. Also your choice of fisheye lens to shoot this video, made the overall experience a bit jarring with abrupt video transitions. I really enjoyed the content in this video. Just a few editing tweaks will improve the overall video experience.

    Seems like 50% markup on house and land. Still might be worth it for $50k and $300 rent only because looks clean, well maintained and safe.
    What does rent include? gated security? On site property manager that lives there ? hot water? internet? laundry? Pool? Insurance?
    You can find cheap land in Florida, but running power, water, septic, internet are going to cost you. And then you need to consider maintenance, road quality, security and proximity to retail and hospitals.
    Would like to see Florida Building codes adapted for Tiny homes, Off-grid and smarter water/waste treatment options.

    Beautiful and so open! The only thing I don’t like is the lack of privacy in the bedroom.

    What a fantastic property. It amazes me how this is something so many people in this country want (affordable housing, community), yet you have to fight tooth and nail against elected and non-elected officials to make it happen.

    Wondering how do you buy “homeowners” insurance for such cute house? Just in case hurricane season.

      They are RV certified, so you'd get RV insurance and it must be registered like any other vehicle.

    It would have been nice to view if the video hadn't been so distorted because of using a fish eye lense . Note to the "videographer"... People want to see the product, not feel as though they're going into an amusement tunnel...

    So so impressive, this is how homes should be, huge windows and all.
    9:02, I loved it. But I would put curtain for sectioning the bed !
    16:15
    18:04
    24:08- minus the sleeping loft !

    This has led me to buy a ticket and go to the Village to see one before I buy one. However today I’m booking my flight but after emailing The Escape Co. They emailed back saying call next week. Is there someone else I can make a confirmed appointment with? ☀️Thank you for your help!

    How do these hold up in a hurricane? Do you have to haul them away if you are in the path of a storm?

    • @jovanalmen8660
      @jovanalmen8660 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No. There are more mobile homes in Florida than you could shake a stick at. Usual issues are metal sheeting and skirts being ripped off. These seem to be made much better than your standard mobile home. If they're anchored properly, I'm sure they'll be fine.

    My question…this property is sold out and The Oaks is currently under construction. I want a community that is not full of vacation homes…I want full time residents…I’m curious about this property because there’s no one around.l.are all these vacation homes?

    I keep wondering. What do you do in a hurricane? It is obvious you can't just hook it up and tow it away. I think I would feel safer in an RV.

    This is a nice idea for housing .....
    when I went tiny houses and buses I really do t like the sofa in front or overlapping the kitchen ...I prefer lounging/living room. ....kitchen/dinette ...bathroom ..if loft ... ability to stand up ...etc....
    However a Tiny House Village is a great idea .
    is the last tiny house a part of the large house ???? That one is my favourite .... Is that where one would use the bathroom. ????
    ..Thank you ..

    Hi 🙂, How many acres are these tiny houses situated on?

  • @brand3820
    @brand3820 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    $75,000..But the lot rent is $400.00 a month permanently..That $400.00 a month includes trash pick up, access to clubhouse area..If you have decent credit they’ll finance the run house to you for $475.00 a month plus the $400.00 a month lot rent..So for $875.00 you get your tiny house payment + lot rent + trash + clubhouse access..Your electricity, water, and cable/internet is NOT Included....So there you go..If you just rent one just subtract $50.00,, and this is your price..So with everything you’ll most likely be out $1,000 to $1,200 a month..That doesn’t include your food of course 😂😂..It’s ok for a couple that both have incomes Or someone retired with nice pension + their Social Security....This is for lot #1..And YES, they are completely furnished! Yes, appliances too..
