Thanks for the video, really informative and handy. I completed the same install last night. Great so far, I can use the auto headlight function properly now. During the day the Dlr is on and the dash and radio is bright. In the dark, auto headlights come on, dash dims down. I connected the orange wire to the 10Amp front left headlight fuse in the fuse box (top right if stood in front of the car). Just jammed it in with the fuse, figured the controller box is looking for a signal (voltage in the circuit), not drawing extra power.
@@sarremoo123 I think yes, but it still needs to be a switchback LED with the right type of connector (or soldered). You'd connect to the the turn signal socket normally, and get switched 12V for the DLR from somewhere (on mine there was an extra white wire) This should make the DLR come on with ignition on, switch to turn signal on when needed and switch back to DLR. Essentially your DLR will be independent of your headlights and be always on. Mine are not too bright, so would not be blinding, but the turn signal reflector is non-directional, it disperses light un-focused. With a very bright DLR you could blind oncoming traffic more at night.
Where did you get the positive (+) for daylight led? Can you tell me how many amps of insurance did you get? What is the insurance that comes from the energy when the vehicle contact is opened? .thank you

What happen if I only use led bulb with white and yellow ,but not drl box ,? Will it work or not?

What do i need to make my bulb turn white daylight? Mine only work yellow blinker. I only bough bulb.

Yes, it is possible. Just not connect the orange wire.

Yes, if you not connect the orange wire, drl light won't turn off when you turn on the normal halogens.
