Ha! You must have gone thru a hell of a trial & error period with, I would say with a few choice words blurted out, to figure out the intricacies of how this gizmo operates. But, better you than me I suppose. Lol. Thanks for sharing the discovery and the explanation. Usually when I take things apart, there’s a small piece (like a spring) that I find later, after I’ve put it back together, & then “son-of-a-*#%,” I t ell myself … “where does this thing go.” So thx again for helping me not get my blood pressure up. Lol. 60+ myself here.
