Vraiment très impressionnant!! Et quelle éloquence dans la construction des mouvements de la suite!!! Tous les paramètres des mouvements d’une Suite aux XVII et XVIIIe revivent dans un langage d’aujourd’hui. C’est très touchant! Bravo!!!
The “mention of the final movement of the Rachmaninov 1st piano concerto put a smile on my face. I apologize for being new to this marvelous composition. It is just spectacularly entertaining, and fantastically rendered.
Anson, do you know the pianist Anson Wong? He played Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No. 2 - Recorded on 14 July 2023 at Concert Hall, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

What an inspired and creative piece of music written by Hamelin! Reminded me of Kapustin's Suite in the Old Style!
There's certainly some inspiration drawn from Kapustin's work, but with Hamelin's unique language!
I don't see it. Would you mind putting timestamps?

Could you put a timestamp, please.
He added a bit to the end!
This turns out to be a revision in 2022.
@@Yubin_Lee_Doramelin I see, thanks. Rachel Kudo's recording is before that, I think.
@@sebastian-benedictflore Yes, the premiere was in February 2021, absolutely before the revision.
And variations.
Incredible

Now I see, thank you.
I think Marc is showing himself to be a finer, more interesting composer than Horowitz.
