Good day. If you pull your carburetor or intake off again. Check to see if the intake fits nice to the flanges/ports on the heads. You may have to loosen up one or both of the heads to fit it nice. Roll the O-rings up on the flanges put the intake on and roll the O-rings down into the groove. Last old-school trick is wrap a piece of electrical tape once or twice around the O-ring area and put your clamps on. Good luck and God bless. Smitty in Vegas.
If you have an acetelyne torch, use just the oxygen and run he tip over your entire intake while the motor is running. If you hear the rpm increase, you have located the leak.
I think its great how you talk about your dad almost like we have met him or some shit. Every time one of my bikes is having issues or if I just need info in general I run to my old man and his ass always has the answer too
Why not just go through the carb, get some new intake gaskets and make it right! You have taken the time and changed to another iffy carb, kicked it a million times, cursed it a few hundred times and Now your back at square one! For the next video. Hmmmm Nice bike! The faults belong to the Owner. Ride Safe. Good luck on the next round
@@braydonhopper figured you did! Or you put the scooter in the Corner for time out! I just read did anS&S Super E on one of my rides, hated paying lots for a kit but glad its new again! Been 20 yrs and figured it was about time. Haven't fired it yet! Did Lots of stuff! Mostly wiring had it since 1986 carb wasn't and issue but had to re do cables and controls figured just do all if it then be done for a few more years

I end3d up fixing it. I know that trick as well, but I use starter fluid (ether).

I'm glad you dig it. The old timers know a thing or tow!
I said god damn god damn the pusher man
🤣 🤣 🤣
Great lkg shovel, and very well done. Is that a 'sparto' tail light, chrome or polished aluminum? It looks great.
I can't remember who makes it. I picked it up at my local motorcycle parts store
Great video man and love the bike
Glad ya dig it!
O-rings sucks change the manifold to rubber band easier to work with less leaks
Intermittent jet to lean go up a size
Which bands did you order? Been having issues with mine aswell and it is extremely frustrating
I went to a local parts store. They were a generic/alt brand, but I think they are based on the v twin manufacturing design.
