is the same to install the roush y-pipe?
how much more loud ? I already have a muffler delete and it sounds great but not enough volume, does a resonator delete turn up the volume ? if so how much ?
REB3 you would need a downpipe first to get a big difference.
i got a bbk highflow cat downpipe, along with my muffler delete and its perfect, no drone and is loud af once you floor it. Cutting into the resonators will probably leave you with alot of drone on the highway

They all look to have the same setup V6 just gets no love probably would sound better on V6 anyway
joecal31204 The V6 has 2 in 2 out on the resonator, just like the V8. The only difference is the diameter of the piping. This is 1 in 2 out, so it's not even in the same ballpark. I'm sure if any V6 owner picked up a GT resonator delete, any competent exhaust shop could make it work. But it would in no means be a bolt in part for the V6.

A tune, and sometime when the car is off for like an hour it'll pop when revving right away

Yes it will.
Truthfully I'm a year into my loan with my ecoboost thought it would have gotten better gas mileage but it gets less than my old 98 v6 im just going back to the dealership and getting a GT
how do you drive it 😭 full throttle to brake to full throttle to brake? i’m full bolt ons big turbo on a 93 octane tune pushing 650whp and i still get 25mpg. u must just drive like a dumbass

this sounds trash compared to harley davidson bikes. plus if you to something like this to a v8 mustang it would sound better because the 4 cyl engines have a "fartier" sound to them

Thomas Cretier No, the catalytic convertor has been removed on this car. If you're just installing the h-pipe and removing the resonator, then you're okay.
Doing a resonator delete and muffler delete might be against the law depending on where you live on the noise itself

No only cars from Japan and Asia,
Ford 4cyl are beating v-8s plus they are746 pounds lighter than a v-8 They can go faster and hotter in and out of a corner. I have had a 1979 mustang and a 1986 SVO and a tricked out 1983 FORD THUNDERBIRD TURBO COUPE and all were fast. Also jack Roush raced mecur xrt4i 580 hp.and were awsome on the RACE track.

Have a local muffler shop do this for 100$ or less parts/install! Never waste your money on any aftermarket y pipes.

Does this need some ECU remap? Or after you install it you just drive the car thesame as before?
My MRT Y-Pipe was much better quality than the one in this video. My T304ss shiny, plus you could really see the tig welds (round circles) Not sure if there is a saying for that? But the welds look the same as a high quality header, not like in this video, which looks the same as the welds on your stock exhaust. When Bill was installing the double pipe end, you could see it was a snug fit. Mine fit perfect on the DP side the same as video, but slipped right over both exhaust ends, with lots of room, because they didn't reduce the 2.5" enough to fit snug over my 2 1/4 piping, but still installed the clamps included, dropped my car down, then drove home to notice it leaking horribly bad LOL. I could of had it welded, but instead picked up new U-bolt clamps 2 1/4, which i was able to tighten up enough to seal both sides perfectly. So if anyone else runs into the same problem i did, then go grab a couple U-bolt clamps :-) I love how loud my car is now and all the pops and crackles.

If I get just the resonator delated will I get to have a tune? and will the sound different justify the cost if Ieave the mufflers and the cat on? Thanks
metitusable delete resonator will lose minimal power maybe 5 to 10 at least that’s what I say. If you delete just the resanator you will hear a difference in sound even if you keep mufflers and downpipe cat on. Cat delete on down pipe will give you a bit more turbo noise and resanator delete will give you more poppy and aggressive sound. It will make it sound like a pissed off 4 cylinder but if you like the sound then it’s great. People let egos get to there head to much and say it sounds like shit should have got a v8 even though half of the shit talkers drive auto v6

Yes this will work with the active exhaust and no it will not void your warranty.

i suggest you take your car to an expert mechanic who is well equipped with the parts you need for the 2020 ecoboost
how to make explosion on exhaust? does it have software or just that the resonator and drums are removed

Usually only around 4-5rwhp, its more for sound and saves some weight too.

Yes that just replaces a resonator.

pretty disappointing. just bought from you, the factory front clamp is welded in, so cant re use it. had to go buy another clamp spent an extra day down and cost me an extra 30 bucks
...no its not. i've had mine off a thousand times. theres a groove to hold it on.
@@fml55555 ok, doesn't change the fact my 2016 was spot welded top and bottom. From the factory. Bought it brand new with 26 miles on it and first time i've had it apart at 51k since its paid off so no ones touched it but me.

Arno Fourie i did the same thing. The resonator it self weighs about 30 pounds not including the mufflers

It will work with any axle back.
