I think a text message is something totally different in the UK than it is in Canada. My text messages can handle about one very short sentence.
Maybe they mean the character limit its about 150? Per text so michaels text is more like 3 for the longer more usual send to all. If you go over a certain amount ot converts to mms even if its just text because of the amount of data used. Idk thats what id assume it is if they dont have a suuper old phone. Some plans even with new phones like 100 free texts might limit the amount of text you can put in a single message so youre not sending like 100 essays if that makes sense? And can only send like a twitter reply basically.
