The old Duke had some kind of plan for Elissa's power, but it's still unclear what it was. It also seems Richard has some kind of curse that Elissa has the power to reduce the effects of, so I wonder if the old Duke knew of it, and pushed the marriage to solve it.
She is definitely Lydia and Pope's daughter. 1:03:13 I had no idea this was a real medical diagnosis!! My father had this while my mother was pregnant with me but I’d never heard of anyone else having it. He’d wake up every morning, go to the bathroom, and throw up. Funny enough my mom never had any morning sickness so we joke that he took it for her lol.
