I love how the narrator adds her own thoughts throughout the story, it adds so much. Love all of the stories!!!!!!!!!!!🥰
Thank god that they actually TALKED. That means so much, both for the characters and the readers/viewers. It may be an effective method to keep our attention but it does hamper the story and the mood, just making me annoyed when they do that. This problem wasn't stretched out, so that is a great sign.

You're right. There's a bit of strangeness/uncertainty surrounding circumstances, but it is discovered that she's his kid. The old Duke had some kind of plan for Elissa's power, but it's still unclear what it was. It also seems Richard has some kind of curse that Elissa has the power to reduce the effects of, so I wonder if the old Duke knew of it, and pushed the marriage to solve it.
