My dad painted...and as I grew, I realized his paintings were ones he painted of famous ones. Of course they didn't have the famous artists signatures on them. It's pretty neat when you'e that good though. He signed his pictures 'Monk'.
What episode is this? There's no episode entitled "Palms" in the entire episode list. The opening credits show it is series 3 which should be copyright 1976 but the copyright at the end says 1982.
Bill doesn't get enough credit for being cool. Yeah, Bob was awesome (and a better painter), but Bill was great, too. Much fun. And his broken english was always amusing. god this painting was so bad, though. LOL.

That's not really what palm trees look like though. Their leaves are much bigger...no matter what kind of palm it is, their leaves are longer and so forth. I took some art classes in college and I would have been zinged on the beach because 'perspective-wise', it is off...it should be thinner at the left side of the painting.

B) the perspective isn't that far off, if you want to be a pedantic wanker you should point out that the waves in the water could never form like that.
