man dave's voice sound so raw and angry on the first album and the solos around the 1:50 mark are just so ominous. to me the solos made it feel like something big was coming, like it was a sort of message to what megadeth would bring for the next near 40 years. maybe an omen too to what would happen to gar and nick

Despite how terrible his stamina is said to have been back then, I think this first album features some of the best and most impressive vocals from Dave. Must have been his fresh death from Metallica, because he sounds like an actual singer at times. Pure newfound ambition.
