I like this one a lot. Whenever the dealer says "Are you ready?" it doesn't feel threatening. It feels more like a, "This is it. Take your time to be prepared." The dealer is calming you down a bit in preparation for the fact that you could, really, die. The gravity of the situation for both of you really hits at that moment, signified by the music change. One of you will not walk away from this room. This room, sunk in one of the farthest, most decrepit pits of the world.
Yeah really, this feels like when you suddenly find your soulmate in who was once a friend at dusk or something. ONLY when you take a variant of the most deadly game out of the equation
I honestly like this track for two reasons because it can attract two different emotions on two different occasions : The one a lot of people talks and notices about, is the one whee you know there is no turning back, it's either you or him, but both of you realise it, and you can almost feel the fear in the dealer's dialogue, as if he wasn't as confident as he was. The second is the one I experienced, as I was about to win, the dealer has done everything he could, he had no items left, i had almost full life, and his defibrilators were cut. At that precise moment I came to realise I never hated him, I never really wanted to kill him, as if I really he was desperate for survival. As I used my magnifying glass, it was a live. I hesitated to shoot him because of the pity I had for the dealer, and I was concious the game wanted me to feel bad for it. When I got that money, I was happy at first but then on the result screen I started to wonder if it was all worth it in the end..
I've fucked up in my life. I have been to jail, mental Institutions, hospitals after suicide attempts. I've battled major bullying, surgeries, the loss of a brother and who fucking knows what else. I'm still in a deep hole of my doing, but now with friends, the recognition of the care from my family, me taking care of myself and gaining muscle, it's beyond words how amazing it is to look up from said hole and see light.
This is absolutely great track And very great game with deep lore and amazing atmosphere and great mechanics And very simply Hope mike makes more games like that Thx for uploading it I have been looking for it for while Your the boss bro 👍👍🤙🤙
this one feels like melancholic relief, like being drawn back in a chair after a hard day. where as the unused one that i think was gonna be for the post credits is a very sad sounding version. the unused ones called music_true death vol 1
When i was almost winning, and locking the dealer with the shackles, Then this song popped out when he was 1 life away. I weirdly felt kind've bad for the dealer, just sitting there with the shackles, looking down and saying "Are you ready?"
Holy fuck i need to say how good this is, i never could see a better soundtrack more depressing than this the fact of being alone, and nobody can save you this time is just SO Damn good

This exactly what I think
Nice one bro 🤙👍
The real treasure we had with the dealer was the shotgun shells we shot in our brain along the way.
This feels different when you listen to it outside of the game.

Starting to give me “Look like this is the end of the road kiddo” vibes.

Damn dude....... That's sad.... I hope everything in your life will get better... Wish you good day
Glad you're safe
God bless you
Sorry to hear that, feel better soon
I have a discord friend from nam who's also in a similar spot, if only i could lend him a hand. Maybe i could have also learn something from him . . .
this hits different when you win the game after the dealer shoots himself with a live round
I love how "Are you ready?" can be interpreted in 2 ways
Are you ready to die, or are you ready to see me die?
Theme of when i don't save in a game without auto save for a long time and the power cuts out
this feels like acceptance to me, i felt like this after i got diagnosed with a life threatening blood disease
Or something like diabetes...
This is absolutely great track
And very great game with deep lore and amazing atmosphere and great mechanics
And very simply
Hope mike makes more games like that
Thx for uploading it
I have been looking for it for while
Your the boss bro 👍👍🤙🤙
first time i actually feel bad for someone
The title screen reminds me of emesis blue. Whiten all the bodies are floating or the massive piles of bodies.
