Keep doing your thing man! Just found you today and I love the energy/knowledge/humor appeal and I’m guessing a lot of other people will too. You the man let’s goooooo
Aw thanks Blue! I'll keep working on it
I'm absolutley CRAZY about this guy. His deck is gonna be awesome!
This dude is freaking cool! I'm going to call him General Beard
@@aktirimagic4405 lol
I like what you did with krinko, you monster!
Also that deck box was fly as hell.
Keep up the good work!
Thank you Erik! Lol they are pretty awesome boxes
From what I've heard, exert won't work with Isshin because it's not explicitly an attack trigger (i.e. not worded as "whenever X attacks, blah blah"). Other than that, good video! Nice unique Idea on Basri Ket. I really think you can do a mean token swarm in this deck with Isshin and all of your mardu "whenever this creature attacks, create a tapped and attacking token" type creatures.
I just got clarification from my judge saying the same thing! Once these videos are published though, it's hard for me to go back and fix it. Glad people are getting the right ruling.
I thought Basri was kinda cool! I wish I could play all the commanders I've made videos for on my channel...he might get built...
I'd play a goad strategy and have Righteous Cause and a payoff like Vito to close out the game. I also think that Adriana, Captain of the Guard would be better than doubling up on Exalted.
But Exert does not work as an attack trigger. I found that one when I started building Wulfgar
You're right about exert! Found out that exert isn't an attack trigger. It's an ability we choose to use as we attack.
Adriana is certainly cool and she would play really well with goblins. Hmm....
This guy is pretty insane! It's also quite nice that he triggers not only on your attacks, but also everyone else's! A goblin deck that isn't one of the Krenkos or Wort looks hella fun! Just built a Karazikar Goblin deck and until now I'm enjoying it a lot!
Oooooo!! I haven't even looked at Karazikar! That dude is a mean group hug for sure. I bet encore is fantastic with him! Impulsive Pilferer I think?
@@aktirimagic4405 yep! Impulsive pilferer is great with him! Goblin works well with Karazikar since they trigger his attack ability quite easily!
how is krenko and coat of arms a combo? its more of a synnergy but some of the cards are nice ideas. keep up the good work.
I can certainly see your point. I simply don't think every combo is an infinite combo and this generates so much power in one swing!
Glorybringers ability is not a triggered ability. all triggers use the words when, whenever, at
Indeed! I felt iffy on it, should always check rulings first
Why use Bane of Bala Ged when you can throw some of the cheaper (monetarily, not mana cost) Eldrazi with Annihilator along with Tergrid? They sacrifice their stuff, Tergrid gives it to you, you hit them with their own stuff.
That's a really dang good point! Gosh, sorry it took so long to respond! I forgot about annihilator!
@@aktirimagic4405 Most people do right up until Pathrazer hits the board.
LOL you should edit parts like the Krenko math part . . . I like the rest of the video though
Oh yeah for sure. As my channel gets larger, I'll certainly have a bigger budget for editing!
@@aktirimagic4405 Ok, I made your channel one bigger.
Archon of cruelty and hero of blade both do 12+ dmg on their own with isshin
It was a mistake not to get Hero of Bladehold in this video! Ah!!
Hopefully the rest was useful
I was thinking he would be a fun throw in for a kaalia deck
Two Kaalia triggers would be devastating!!!
Oh that’s just wrong...
The titans are cool but how do I afford them in mardu colors?
You mean, how do you have mana to cast them? Well, there are budget routes and expensive routes. Pilgrim's Eye, Kor Cartographer, and Solemn Simulacrum are budget. Oh and the signets are auto includes in your deck.
Does emberwild captains trigger really double with isshin? He says „if a creature attacking causes a permanent to trigger“, and emberwild says „whenever an opponent attacks“. I have the feeling it does not work. Please correct me if i am wrong
Yes actually he does trigger! So in this example, Emberwilde is the permanent that is triggering, you control Emberwilde, and Isshin sees that. The opponent's creatures are causing your permanent's 'whenever attacks' to trigger. I hope this helps!
I am a little confused by the wording „whenever an opponent“ on emberwild, but you are totally right. I Guess it translates to „whenever a creature an opponent controles“.
Anyway, Thanks a lot for clearing that up
Nice deck, just wish it would've had more Samurai. Feel like it doesn't have a theme going, many random cards that look weird together :/
Ah....yes I do tend to shy away sometimes from the flavor. Maybe I should do flavor builds too...hmm...
@@aktirimagic4405 I just love when the deck has a certain theme/ aesthetic
Most samurai have an "attacks alone" condition that I feel doesn't help much. I did like this being mostly around token gameplay
@@AlejandroNitsch thank you! Yeah, I found the samurai mechanic to be very limiting. There's just so much more that can be done
I’m building this edh commander as pillowfort/anthem/politics.
Pillow fort? I guess I don't quite get the line you're going for. Like, attack triggers on each creature are so strong, they win by themselves? Then you have room in the deck for the Pillows?
