Me too. They has such great and funny chemistry together. You could tell there is a real friendship between the actors. Steve Burton is an absolute dreamboat......as far as I am concerned, only Steve is Jason. The new actor playing him now does not have the same chemistry with Elizabeth, Robin and Spinelli, so I have not watched the show much anymore. Thank God for youtube clips of old episodes!

You are absolutely right. Even though Jason couldn't be with Elizabeth, he did keep living. However, many think Sam was a 2nd choice, but, I don't believe that.
I loved jason,liz emotions,face experiences,chemistry,body language with each other. jason wanted liz said he it to her lots of times showed it a loand more and also his eyes said a lot to her and more he loved Liz so much
i luv the script and the way these actress produce these scenes and then i luv how the tension between liz and jason ignites that's like the reality of what you can't have but you have to deal with the pain of not being with one another in this longing underline love of forcing oneself to make peace with being apart for as long as they are and only can have for when that time rings true again! it's truly a painful sorrow!
I think Elizabeth can handle herself. Look at the times she has hidden Jason and kept her cool. Sam likes danger and loves to get rescued. An example of that is what is going on right now. Why did she have to put herself in the middle of the cult and ended up going to jail? She is a mother now didn't she think about her children. Then as part of her parole, she is supposed to stay away from Jason for two years. What does she do almost risk herself going back to prison not even thinking about her children? At least Elizabeth puts her children first like a good parent is suppose to.

@@violetrose1918 Yes, Liz did that. She also confessed quickly. But it's a helluva lot worse when you hired two ARMED men to scare a woman with two small children or when you watch an unhinged woman STEAL the child of the man you claim to love. Sam had no idea what that woman would do to Jake.

Jason was in love with Elizabeth long before there was Jake. Maybe he settled for Sam because she's a better "fit" for his life than Elizabeth.
