Konkani is a unique language. When we go out of station or when we are in a public crowd, it helps us because nobody around us will understand what we are talking !!!

I am disappointed that even Konkanis did not pronounce Deepika Padukone last name correctly, Including Deepika Padukone.When Prakash Padukone was a well known badminton player, I never heard his last name pronounced incorrectly.

@@milokors9261 no, stop making uneducated comments. The konkani spoken by her is actually the most distinct from Marathi. Goan konkani is almost a dialect of Marathi, while it becomes a distinct language south of Karwar.
