I watch these matches, and it stuns me how one player from a group will get hit and start returning to spawn, and all the others just sit there, no reaction, no moving to find better cover, no trying to find where the shot came from, etc
You do see people react to it. One guy yelled sniper. One guy took cover etc etc.
@@spooditt6968so two people in a group reacted, in one instance. Hardly a good showing of the awareness of these players.
@@lordsylph414 i can't speak for the players, but I'm guessing we (the viewers) don't see how they handle it. I mean, they most likely would be searching/going for cover. They have no reason not to.
Well, it does seem weird from this point of view, but for them, they expect enemies from their front, not saying it's not wise to expect them from anywhere, but these aren't any military trained people (mostly), so they probably just thought the shots are coming from the front and didn't think they needed to change position/cover.

Agree 100%. In real combat these people would've dropped or scrambled for cover. You don't "respawn" after being killed in real life.

The scariest shit in airsoft in my opinion is when there is a competent sniper on the enemy team and they miss your head by a few inches and you can hear the BB, not only because you know roughly where they are but you also know they have their cross hairs on your head.
they cant hit you if you look in their direction and see t h e s p h e r e slowly approaching
I have called a hit on a miss from a buddy of mine I heard it hit the tree right next to my head ik what's coming for me if i dont. We laughed about that shot for a long while.
These are the most annoying people in airsoft. Show up with 5 grand worth of gear and shit on 14 year olds

as a former infantry marine ive gotta say im super impressed by your stalking and stealth skills, its such a simple notion but one a lot of people dont understand, the human eye is drawn to movement, when those guys are looking at you or in your direction as long as you dont move they will usually pass you by. amazing discipline bro, not sure if you are former military but youve got this stalking / sniper thing down and kudos from someone whos schooled in it that did almost nothing but night ops in fallujah dude really great shit

I've heard more than one story about soldiers being forced to stay quiet as something gross happens. Squad of three or four guys on recon get cut off by a sizeable force and have to lay in a bush for hours as hundreds of Vietcong march past them two feet away. And when a Vietcong happens to step off to do their business...well, if the soldier even moves to get out of the way and gets spotted, half the Ho Chi Minh trail will fall on them before you can say 'Charlie!'.

To be fair, he should have gone for center mass. That's a gentleman's rule. Mustang does it a lot, and I understand it's part of the game, but I don't like that he doesn't at least try to go for center mass.

Agreed. In gaming we train ourselves to go for the head. Then in the most immersive form of playing with fake guns people expect you to not go for the head just because they dont want to wear a mask. Even if their full body is shown, the shooter may not have full view. So to complain "you saw my whole body" dude get the fuck off the field.

Wearing a lower face mask is optional yes, but so is shooting someone in the face knowing they are not wearing one, unless you have no other target, you shouldn’t be aiming for the head, even when wearing lower face mask there’s still small sections of the head you can hit, it’s unnecessary, and it shows the big difference between the quality of people playing airsoft, rather than moan about people choosing not to wear a lower face, how about you focus on not being the assholes going for head shots on people who choose not to wear them, if it’s an accident, fair enough, but you shouldn’t aim for the head, it’s that simple.

It’s optional to wear them, just don’t be a prick and shoot the face, that’s your option, says a lot about you if that’s what you choose to do.
Sometimes a shot to the face is the only thing that registers as a hit with people.

Unless you can chop your head off, in a SHOOTER game, no reason to bitch. Head/face cover is available and as much as many these folks spend, not doing so speaks more to them than Mustangs behavior. (Like Mr. Beard, in one the other videos, for example...)

@@plushskrim2638 fr, I really don't like this guy. A friend told me to look at this, sent me this video, and I'm honestly disappointed. This is why airsoft isn't fun in places like this. It's amazing, being able to go in a forest and play one of my favorite hobbies! And then people like this come along, and shoot people like me in the face on purpose for content, when they clearly see that I have safety goggles and a mesh mask. I started wearing earplugs because some douche sitting behind a tree 20 feet away decided to shoot me in the head on purpose and almost went straight in my ear.
