埼玉県こども動物自然公園のベネットアカクビワラビーです。
草食性で草や果実を食事にしています。
非常に近くから撮影させてもらうことができました。
可愛らしいベネットアカクビワラビーの様子をお楽しみ下さい。
カンガルー科の動物は姿の大きい順にカンガルー、ワラルー、ワラビーと呼び名が分かれています。
ワラビーは一番小さいグループですが、ベネットアカクビワラビーはワラビーの中では大きな姿をしています。
同じエリアにいるカピバラさんと一緒に食事していました。
人に慣れているみたいでワラビーさんから近づいてきます。
This is a Bennett's wallaby at Saitama Children's Zoo.
They are herbivorous and feed on grass and fruit.
I was able to take some photos from very close up.
Enjoy the adorable Bennett's wallaby.
Animals in the kangaroo family are called kangaroos, wallaroos, and wallabies, in order of size.
Wallabies are the smallest group, but the Bennett's wallaby is large among wallabies.
The wallaby was eating with the capybara who was in the same area.
The wallaby seems to be used to people and comes up to me.
