Like they say, this is a case in which the sequel is superior to the original. The Britannic was a new and improved version of the Titanic in exactly the same case as the Titanic being a new and improved version of the Olympic. A Promenade for 3rd Class, a 2nd Class Gym, the Grand Staircase Organ, the Children's Playroom, the ornate and luxurious swimming pool (compared to the Titanic's and Olympic's spartan pools) were just priceless. Add on top of this the safety corrections and improvements upon learning from the Titanic's case (higher bulkheads, electric more efficient davits, more lifeboats, double hull). As for the design change in the luxurious sections, this is subjective, some like the Titanic's/Olympic's designs better, some like those of Britannic.
Brittanics deck plans can be brought in digital format on the Titanic Honor and Glory website and so can Titanic and Olympic deckplans they are amazing
But due to its starboard list it landed on its side so its almost unrecognizable, also someone bought the wreck so you cant go down there legally, such a shame they disassembled the Olympic, they couldve made a lot of money out of it putting it on a museum or sum
The irony is that Titanic and Britannic were lost, but still exsist on the seabed, while the survivor, the Olympic ends up getting scrapped and cease to exsist.
If anybody would happen to have a deck plans for the Britannic, it would have been Harland & Wolff. Who knows. Maybe they're tucked away and forgotten among the company's archives?🤔
Sadly all the safety improvements made to Brittanic after the Titanic sank couldn't save her from sinking. The explosion caused the underwater mine to jam the water-tight doors open. They were open because they were open for the morning run and the portholes were left open because it was hot inside. If both were closed, Brittanic may not have sank
Interesting video...but surely the pronunciation is "Promenade"? On more than one occasion, if not most of the time, you're calling it "Promedane"? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about the pronunciation... But I'm sure I'm not! 😄
You seem critical of the ship despite it serving a noble purpose. The ship had to be refitted to carry 2 to 3 times the number of people(mostly sick and injured) so obviously luxury and opulence had to make way for supplies and medical wards.
I like your videos they're very informative what I would like to see is one of the name on the Titanic of the thousands of videos and photos there are online of the wreck site there's not one where you can clearly see the name could you do want on that topic
Some of the scuba trips to Britannic show her in all her glory. It’s like titanic but sideways. You can see the stern clearly too.
When they had to convert Brittanic to a hospital ship, they had to remove several things
Dont care what anyone says, Titanic is most famous, most people hear about before Brinttanic or even olympia

I always forget that the Britannic was drafted in to the Agency in WWI

At least the Britannic will last longer than the titanic 😎😎😎

@@MantisBkfacts
@@MantisBk But Britannic is recognizable you can see it clearly also Olympic was scrapped for money because of the Great Depression.
I get it. Britannic is longer then Titanic.
@@juanleon3875 no they are both 268 meters

Really enjoy your videos.
The organ is actually still in use and can be seen.
You do great videos, but its prounced promenade.
he's been called out on that so many times by now that I'm now certain he's doing it on purpose to f with people

How many promadons were on the Brittanic
what's a promedan?

They were open because they were open for the morning run and the portholes were left open because it was hot inside. If both were closed, Brittanic may not have sank
Also the captain tried to beach her so the engines weren't cut and that may have sped up the sinking as well.
Also captan didnt allow for portholes to be open,bc of the maids Britannic sank

You're right. This guy keeps calling it Pormadadon. It's Promenade
It's promenade, Ginger.
You'd think theyd have kept the elevators for ease of moving around walking wounded
Second I am sorry that the BRITANNIC never made it to look like the luxury
Amazingly after all these years that swimming pool is still full of water
Shuddap
Unfortunately life gets in the way of beauty
Btw I have photo of Britannic's D deck in build
Team Promodon
I think that brittanic sinking is just loads of bad luck really i mean only if the portholes and watertight doors were closed it might've not sunk
