Very well! I wish I had more time to practice, but I'm playing bass in some small local gigs as part of the live band for my friend's solo project, fumbled through a studio recording for someone else, and started making guitars/basses (just finished my 7th this week)

Video request: How do you warm up your hands before playing? How do you protect those fingers?
I've been playing guitar and piano a lot lately and my fret index finger pains in both joints.

Not sure what level you are practicing at, so this advice might be inappropriate to you, but consider improving on your technique to apply less pressure or spread the work equally across your fingers. You don't need to jam those frets as hard as you might think. I know that index finger pain from times where I practiced lots of songs with barré chords and the reason was probably that I was substituting finesse with force. "Slow down and relax yourself", I'm sure Donny says that quite often as well.
