I love how you use as much of the six by six paper pads to get so many cards. This is really inspiring. These colors weren't necessarily what I would have thought of as fall but after seeing the finished cards they really do call fall.

Kristie: Hoping you can help. I LOVE your videos and have been following your channel for years. My issue is I purchase all kinds of paper pads (both 12x12 and 6x6) from many many companies. When I sit down and try to make cards, I discover I don't have the right shade of solid cardstock for the layers....and I have a LOT of cardstock. Mostly StampinUp, but also GinaK, Taylored Expressions, and I even purchased some Recollections assortment packs that I thought would work well with the Recollections patterned paper pads seeing that it was the same manufacturer, but that hasn't worked out well either. I am constantly saying, "with all this cardstock you would think I would have SOMETHING that matches/coordinates!!" I thought of "keeping it simple" and just using black, but some of the pads are softer, almost pastel florals and the black seems too harsh. So, my question to you is, How do you always have just the right shades of coordinating solid cardstock that matches?? I hope you have some suggestions that can help so I can end my frustration and get some of these beautiful papers turned into cards.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kindness and support. 💖 Sometimes it is hard to find that perfect cardstock color. I try to find as close as possible. If you are only using it for layers, it doesn’t have to be perfect. Just go for close enough. I will use white occasionally, or even some specialty cardstock like gold or silver. Another option is to use a tone on tone patterned paper for the layers. I hope my suggestions are helpful and you can turn those paper pads into cards.
@@KristieMarcotte yes, absolutely helpful. And YES, I'm working on turning my 6x6 and 12x12 papers into cards. Just told myself not to stress about it...if I don't have anything that matches I'm trying to use a "neutral" like black, brown, gray, silver or gold. Thank you again.
This is very pretty paper collection and designs. My favorite papers are the one with the dark teal background, the purple background and the light green. I love leaves for fall crafts 🍁🍁. The music in the video was very nice and cal ing. I’m glad you we’re able to fix your software issues. Nope your sidekick is enjoying school and your sister’s family is doing well ❤️. TFS
