- After 800 hours in Palworld I'm sharing some of the basics things I wish I'd known in my first play throughs. Including which Pal you should catch FIRST, what items you should look for, base set up tips, the pals you will need to run your first base and explaining the basics of the game.

- The only enhancement that an Alpha pal has is slightly more health. No other stats are affected by the fact it is an Alpha.
they also generally have better base ivs. so getting them to a "perfect" state is easier
They are bigger, can jump higher but get hit more frequently by AoE, difficult to go through doors. So choose wisely

Early game tech, you can time your swings when lumbering/mining to not drain sanity, if done correctly, you will only swing from one side rather than alternating

Great video, and I liked your base setup at 13:20. I've been playing around with something similar as a conventional layout causes despawn issues.
I'm interested in your take on "optimizing" your base. I saw some of your tricks during the flyby, but its interesting to see how you prioritize things.
Thank you! I'm working on that video, although it's become more of a serious of smaller video tips to break it up. There's just SO much to cover and it's a passion of mine.

Recently I've been doing a bit of a deep-dive into "speedrunning" progression in a new server and its pretty interesting how your pathing changes based on what your prioritize early on; which is what caught my eye about this video.
A bunch of short(er)-form content sounds accessible, I look forward to it. Its clear you put a lot of work into editing this video despite how few videos you have on your channel. well done.

Thanks for letting me know, I didn't realize I hadn't added that. I really only stream to get the content to edit, but because of that I do a lot of talking and explaining as I go.
I really appreciate the compliments, I have worked hard, it's a learning process and I lost a full week's worth of material when the program crashed and I had to start over. I'm proud of myself for not giving up then 😂 But I really am passionate about this so I couldn't quit. 😊

A lot of creators moved on to other games but with the big patch dropping on the 27th I think people are going to be back and looking for resources that aren't 3-4 months old. This series you are working on is going to drop at a really good time, so I could see it being really helpful for folks.

I’d like to point out something about skill fruits you didn’t mention. You can in fact use them on humans you’ve captured but they will not use the moves you teach them in combat. I’ve tested this on multiple different types of human and none of them use the taught moves.
Oh and I’d like to recommend possibly one of the best base locations for open space and no raids. If you go to sea breeze archipelago really close to the Univolt boss there’s a skill tree on the edge of a cliff by the water. The large field in front of it is perfect for open space to build in and idk why but this location doesn’t get raids at all. There’s two chest that spawn within glider distance of the base. To be more specific about the location if you go to the Bushi boss and go directly south you should see the tree very soon. Also from where the tree is if you glide off the cliff across the water is an area where relaxsaurus spawns. There’s a few camps that respawn nearby as well so you can get free pals for XP and there’s a dungeon just at the top of the cliff at the far side of the field from the tree. I always use this spot as my first base location and I usually don’t ever tear it down because of how large you can build there. I really might make my first ever video on Palworld because since it’s been out I’ve been obsessed and I have so many tips and tricks that I haven’t seen any videos mentioning. I’m really hoping the new content brings back more players and that the ones who gave it up early for glitches return so these devs can make another game eventually

I know the location you're referring to and I'll definitely check it out and try a base there.
And that's the reason I started this channel. I'm passionate about this game. I have nearly 700hrs in it now 😅
They now use the moves. But they're still pretty mediocre, so it's straight to the black market if I catch one.
dragon cannon is super good early game even close to end game lots of bosses are dark type, and the skill has an area of effect with a chance to burn. even better on a mounted pal you can speed farm early game materials blasting the lower level pals.

It's on my to do list, but I'll definitely bump it up. I love building bases and will be doing many build and location videos.
Excellent breakdown... also i kept 1 cativa in my party well into the midgame. For a starting pal they can be quite good in combat if you invest in them.
Lately i go for 3 cativa 1 foxsparks and 1 tombat. Then catching spree. The extra weigh is great. And the othe 2 add to my versatility and over all dps with the possibility of burn and poisoning
I still go almost 100% of the time with 5 cattivas to start, but I quickly catch more, so when I put my palbox down, I have my variety. I tend to go a day or two before putting it down, though. Foxparks are a given, I love to get tombat as soon as I can, too.

I played palworld without any infos and tips, and it was kinda my first time playing this type of game like this one, and i did better than these people who make videos with tips, how sad, i recommand you to watch a normal gameplay and if u like the game, buy it and try for yourself, dont just copy others and learn to enjoy the game

@@AzaleahGames so you wasted 600hrs to learn all these? While anybody with a brain can learn this stuff in a few hours of gameplay? Everything is so basic, some of the infos are in game for everyone to check, i didnt see any advanced or usefull tip in your video, so dont feel ofended by me, you did your best, but this may be usefull for people who just enjoy watching videos not playing the game.. i also want to point, if u realy wanted to give tips for players in early game, why didnt you teach them to use fire arrows to deal dot or to make it easier to catch pals, why didnt you say about easiest way to breed anubis, which can be done realy fast if u focus on catching pals to 10 for extra exp and start breeding... bruh these would be usefull stuff to learn early on, not your lame tips about low lvl pals,when i first started this game i didnt even do anything or use any of these pals, thats why i said its better to go head on first and enjoy then later check for new tips or stuff if u missed anything, your points are just useless even for early game, maybe for kids sure
