Just want to shout out Leanne for being able to step in and perform when she wasn’t expecting to and her teammate had just been injured. I’m so proud of all of them ❤
Someone pointed out that Leanne was 24/25 hitting routines in competition this entire year. Stinks that the one not hit happened when it did, but no one can doubt her consistency ❤
I'm glad Simone gets a chance to talk about how hard ahe works and how how its not just easy all the time. She makes it LOOK easy, but ahes still jusy a human who works hard and does amazing things.
simone is really being a good leader and looking out for Joscelyn. if it seems like Joscelyn's injury is a huge deal, then that may influence the way the olympic selection committee may think. Joscelyn was never a lock for Paris, so she needs to prove that she can not only perform at a high level, but stay healthy! Simone has the right idea -- stay quiet, rest up, and come back stronger!
And now the conspiracy theorist would say that she was told to pretend injury so she wouldn’t get hammered by the judges again which would make her not get chosen for the Olympics lol

ps love to see Chellsie in the background... also, there are at least 2 female gymnasts here competting who are in their 30s, one of them is 36. And a handful in their 20s older than Simone, so actual actual adult gymnastics is full of adults!
