Loose fitting clothes and high speed machinery a recipe for disaster. Kinda makes my butt pucker. Definitely room for improvement there. But actual copper wound staters is something you don't see much in washing machines in the USA . Great skill fast and precise. The u.s could learn a thing or two about repairing instead of replacing items like these. This could greatly reduce the impact on the environment. Create jobs. And give the younger generation a grater appreciation for the things we already own. I could go on for hours on how work like this could benefit everyone. People buy these machines for thousands only for a small cheaply made part to break and it will most likely end up going to the landfill. Keep up the good work! My hat is off to you guys. Thanks for the great video can't wait to see what else you have in store.

For a $70 motor it makes no sense to pay 20/hr plus benefits to rebuild these.
The cost there is far less than here. None of these workers even have safety glasses.

These motors look extremely similar to the once found in cheap washing machines from the 70's and early 80's here in Europe. Induction motors, fairly low efficiency.
I guess this assembly is in Pakistan but where do they supply with this low level of productivity? Some low unit middle eastern country? Locally perhaps... hardly to China since that market requires 10000's of units per day at least (for these kind of appliances).

Chinese have Also developed motor rewinding technology. They atleast tried something.
And no one is interested in developing some new. Here even engineer graduates buy projects at there final year and colleges accept those. This is what the mentality.
