      Ohh definitely stacking fragments is pointless at this point. Wonder about these new affixes though.

    The drop rate in tandem with a weekly cap, and the schedule irritate me.
    All the timed events this game has turns me off of so many events.
    I'm not going to schedule alarms for a game, and if you work a night schedule like I do, half of my day I cannot even participate in the rifts.

    In DI your chasing item stats and affixes, in D2 you were chasing the item.......man when that grandpappy or you saw a unique monarch, man those were the happiest days

    great suggestion... DI developers and project managers should involve a wide range of (actual) players in getting their feedback on this system if they want to improve terror rifts...

    IDK why they limit the time you can enter as well as limit the amount per week... Plus it's already rather difficult for f2p... So why not just remove the "every 30 min" limitation? Keep it to 10 per week and keep it difficult, then you can go in with a party or warband at your own choosing rather than being so strict about the schedule.

      Reason is simple. Money. They put it a bit harder than 2k reso at server standard cr. To push ppls try harder to reach the cr can comfortable do it

      @@dvvvvd2221 they just changed something this update. I barely made 1300 and that helped me turn I6 monsters from orange to white (33.5k CR but today I was 33.8k, and 1480 reso)
      Ran some terror rifts and didn't have any trouble. Felt like slow farming essentially. So I think they reduced the struggle from the monsters this last patch.

    A bit too hard to see with all the red, plus spires are a bit too hard to find. I tend to stick near waypoints.

    I think the simplest solution would be doubling the drop rate of terror essences - at least as a temporary measure. The whole system is so bound with rng after rng after rng. At least make it possible to get something really good with all the work that goes into doing the rifts.

    the real problem is the unlimited parangon grind. It needs to stop and instead have a better itemization so that we can grind leg and other stuff instead of useless parangon which only make your stuff useless over time

      I totally get your point but sticking to one difficult lvl could be boring long term and actually it makes this game partly seasonal. But yeah another feature for legendary items very similar or rather worse to the set items isn't good idea for sure.

    I tried Terror Rifts the first week. The time investment, gear consistency, and overall drop rate, in my opinion, aren't worth sacrificing valuable time for. I think the idea of Eternal Gear is nice, but being tied to Terror Rifts is very poor. If the gear dropped in the open world, it would be much better.

    Wow. Not alot of comments here. They didn't have a way to group up in Terror Rifts at first for the whole group to get drops. Now they do.
    Unfortunately, this is still worse than getting Cursed and Ancestral items.
    I never knew about the aspects in Diablo4, but your idea sounds way better than what they are currently doing in Diablo Immortal Terror Rifts.
    Less time wasting.

    Terror rift doesnt make sense at all. It is supposed to be the hardest area for pve, the rewards should always better than anything you farm outside terror rift such as ow farming and dungeon.

    Terror Rifts are a mess.
    1. Why are they every half hour? A Terror Rift takes 13 mins. We should be able to run them every 15 minutes. There's too much down time. You cannot get together a party and terror rift repeatedly because it's a 17 minute wait in between for the next rift. No party of 4 will wait around that long, and not all will want to run dungeons or lairs in the meanwhile. So terror rifts wind up becoming this huge inefficient time sink.
    1a. Terror rifts are not in the party finder, so finding a full party for them can be frustrating. You need to ask your friends, clannmates, or on WC for interested players. It's as tedious and bothersome as getting your clanmates to join an Accursed Tower party. It takes a huge amount of effort. A simple party finder post would be so much more efficient and easier.
    2. Why are Terror Rifts not available from 2 pm until 6 pm in the afternoons? This is when I have the time to run them, but I cannot.
    3. Your party of 4 can be put in two different instances, and it's too confusing when that happens to get everyone into the same instance again.
    4. It's almost impossible to type to communicate with your party while inside a Terror Rift. I die many times when I try. In game voice chat sucks, so it's not an option.
    5. Pillars are viewable on the minimap when you are on top of their location, but you cannot enter them because they are not actually on your screen. This has happened to everyone in several parties I have been in.
    6. Red zones in which pillars are located are too big. You can run around one of these zones for all 13 minutes and never find the pillar. As we get more familiar/do the same zones over and over, we are starting to be able to anticipate where the pillars will be located, but after 3 weeks, I still have trouble finding pillars. Again, communication is difficult within your party.
    7. Navigation is a serious issue. The slow down effect is too much. It causes my hand to cramp. Why must everything be so painful? Why can't we just have fun?
    8. There are not enough speed boost spires, again especially in these gigantic red zones.
    9. There are not enough way points for quick navigation, especially in large zones. As a result, many times you find yourself in slow down slowly glacially crawling/navigating to the next red zone/spire. Is the purpose of this game mode to suffer painful navigation? Because it sure feels that way to me. It's not fun.
    10. It's almost impossible to portal, except from waypoint to waypoint, and again waypoints are too few.
    11. Drops of terror essences are too low.
    12. The market price to the effort required to obtain terror essence ratio is a joke. 400 platinum? Seriously?! Nobody will farm and sell terror essences for that paltry sum.
    13. If terror essences were meant to be a new marketable commodity, then terror rifts should not be limited to only 10 per week AND only during certain hours of the day. Let the economy bear what it will.
    14. Drops of eternal gear are too low.
    15. Quality of gear drops are a pathetic joke. You finally get an eternal gear drop, and it is for an extremely low stat single magic gear piece. If we can only do 10 per week and eternal gear drops are so low, at least make that gear which does drop a minimum of 2 magic.
    16. How grindy/inefficient are Terror Rifts? Since introduction 3 weeks ago, I maxed 2 toons on weekly Terror Rifts. So far I have only 1 keeper usable gear piece. Rounding numbers conservatively to 3 spires per rift, that's about 200 spires to get 1 useable gear piece. It gets worse if you assume 4 spires per rift.
    17. In terms of my actual time spent getting 1 usable eternal gear piece, not counting all the waiting/idle time, that translates to 13 HOURS of my in-game time spent grinding terror rifts to get only one usable eternal gear piece. Simply put, WTF!!!!! And players used to complain about dungeon green drops, hahahaha.
    18. And after all this time to get only one usable gear piece, it's only good for 100 paragons. When the next difficulty comes out, whatever few usable eternal gear pieces you've somehow miraculously managed to find will then be scrapped.
    All that work for something that lasts 2 months? Are the developers senseless?
    19. On top of all that, I haven't seen one video or talked to one person who has said that eternal gear with skill-specific magic is even better than our current legendary gear where the magic applies to all skills. So is all this time spent even worth our while, or is it just busy work? I suspect the latter.
    20. And even if eternal gear is better and we could actually get drops, most of us will need one set for pvp and another set for pve. We can only store that gear if we buy Boon of Plenty, and even still, they only added one more stash tab. I have no idea why the developers are such cheap asses with in-game storage. With multiple set gears, multiple classes, multiple builds AND the difficulty level changing every 2 months which means we are always pre-farming the next difficulty, the current allotted amount of storage is a pittance. For f2p, simply put, there essentially is no storage at all. You can only keep a few charms, leggos and sets bcz there is only 2 stash tabs. For a game which made over a half a billion dollars in its first year, why doesnt that translate into more free storage? Or did all that money go directly into Activision top corporate executives' bank accounts?
    21. I find Terror Rifts very hard to see in. The red is too dark. This adds to the navigation nightmare.
    22. The lettering over the minimap takes up half the minimap. You can only see the top portion. More navigation nightmare issues.
    23. The total time remaining inside the terror rift is not readily observable in the left side menu pop up. That the devs never thought we'd want to easily know how much more time we have remaining in a timed event pretty much sums up their complete lack of application of mind regarding the design of this whole game mode.
    I guess this is the point where I ask do the developers even play their own game, but they have proven repeatedly since day one that the answer to that question is "no".
    And all this is without getting into hellslayer bounties. LoL. Strictly staying on the topic of Terror Rifts.
    So ya, it's a mess. Nice concept but poor economy and application along with the usual nonsensical.capping and restrictions that only makes sense to Blizzard. Or maybe not even to them.

    Quik fix. Delete half the garbage in the game. Return to simple. Make terror ess worth 10k each. Revamp and make the pet system simple. Nothing has been added to the game that has been brought up by the player base. If they did 50% of the things players wanted ,this game would be amazing. Oh and ban bots and bring back temp bans for spending players and f2p. My server is 80% bots with 20% real players. Ban ban. Fix the dupes. Rank 5 gems still riddle my market.
