In the original Darkwing Duck episode Just Us Justice Ducks, the Justice Ducks are Darkwing, Gizmoduck, Stegmutt, Neptunia and Morgana Macawber. This group formed when the Fearsome Five (Negaduck, Bushroot, Megavolt, Liquidator and Quackerjack) came to be. Though Darkwing wanted all the credit for himself and went on his own
I find it funny that Ben Schwartz was chosen to play Ant-Man because he and Paul Rudd seem very similar. Plus, they both played characters who got shrunk.

The remake of Ducktales has been great but yeah the introduction of Darkwing Duck was perfect. The way they did it with the actor and the real one made me smile: they took away the "realism" from the original show then made it even better by introducing the fan-boy who becomes the hero. Can't wait to see where they go with the show.
It kind of referenced one of the contradictory origins of the original Darkwing Duck, too. I recall an episode where Darkwing Duck traveled back in time and inspired his younger self to become Darkwing Duck. Having the older Darkwing Duck be a fictional character rather than a time traveler kind of works.
